Originally released in 2001, ''Disposable Arts'' is a thematic/concept album by Brooklyn emcee Masta Ace. The concept follows that Masta Ace is being released from prison, his return to home and joining ''The Institute of Disposable Arts''. The album is one complete story with the skits and songs together. The album contain many guest artists like Masta Ace's group eMC (Stricklin & Wordsworth), Apocalypse, Greg Nice of Nice & Smooth, Rah Digga, J-Ro of Tha Alkaholiks, King Tee, Jean Grae, Punchline, Young Zee and more. Also a bunch of different producers (Paul Nice, Domingo, Deacon The Villain of CunninLynguists, Xplicit, Ayatollah, Sabor and more), this album is seen as a classic album by most Hip Hop heads.

Don't Sleep.

oNe!

Why is it not?
After the acknowledge track is enough. But after that track, the album gets really corny. The alphabet track, which is 16 or 17 is super fucking wack. And the second to last track shouting out bdp, rakim, and others were corny too.

nice drop. I will have to revisit this album, I don't recall it being THAT great. Ace is the greatest 3.5/5 emcee ever. Classic though???

Thanks for this Kefta,Masta Ace was slept on on the whole i think,he's up there with the best in my opinion.

Masta Ace hasn't aged at all. Dude has to be in his late 40s.

I remember when I was a kid, he came out with "Me and the Biz." I use to love that video lol

I can't believe I never listened to Disposable Arts!

Its funny how Ace was saying the INC way before Murder Inc

I still love his album "Sittin On Chrome." That album was more west coast with some east coast joints. The skits with his cousin from LA were funny lol
