I heard they also got rid of their "red flag" law, which would've let them know that this guy was in a mental facility, hears voices, and has repeatedly mentioned wanting to do this.
Elected officials did get touched at that softball practice, and nothing changed.
I gave up on Republicans doing anything about this, especially after Sandy Hook. Is up to the Democrats to really do something about this.
