Marvel's Inhumans - Official Trailer 1

Fights were trash......I agree with that. I said that when I watched it......the fight scenes were terrible......but I didn't think the story was as bad as people made it.
for iron fist the fights are as much the story as the screenplay - its like a shaw brothers movie with crap fights
imagine 36 chambers or drunken master with rushed choreography

I get it....but man most of the complaints I heard were the story...shocked me no one talked about the fight scenes....I thought maybe they were paying homage to the comic or some shit because those fight scenes were terrible. I didn't get how Daredevil had better fight scenes...IMO, Daredevil has the best fight scenes out of all the Netflix series.

New trailer for Inhumans

am I the ONLY one that feels like this was a tad bit rushed?

Did we REALLY need this now?

Cause SHIELD was doing a damn good job of introducing the Inhumans.

Why didn't they INSTEAD have them INTRODUCED on Agents of SHIELD and THEN do what hey always do...

have some type of guest spot to introduce the next Phase in the movies...

hell they should have linked SHIELD with Netflix instead of THIS NOW.

Again I have FAITH...

it just seems like they RUSHED this and the Iron Fist show runner being attached?

Doesn't exactly breed MORE confidence.

I need some behind the scenes info...

this to me is the MOST UN-MARVEL-LIKE relase ever.

An Open Letter From Medusa's Inhumans Wig

Good afternoon, everyone. Let me start off by saying that I’ve been looking forward to this moment when I could address you all publicly for months now as I knew that my casting in ABC and Marvel’s Inhumans was sure to be the topic of many a conversation.

There is perhaps no other performer in the world who understands more the weight and responsibility of taking on a role as complicated and important as Medusa’s Hair. Quite frankly, there is no Medusa without her hair. I know that, my lovely and talented co-star Serinda Swan knows that, and perhaps most important of all, our lovely executive producer Jeph Loeb knows that.

This is why I wanted to take the time to respond to some of the concerns that have been voiced on this very blog and the wider internet about my performance on Inhumans. Last night, dearest Jeph took to the stage at San Diego Comic-Con, along with my stunt double Sondra on his head, to debut a new Inhumans trailer in which I have a fight scene with Iwan Rheon.

Serinda, Iwan, Sondra and I tirelessly worked with our choreographer for weeks plotting out and perfecting that sequence so as to convey the strength and ferocity and Medusa’s Hair is supposed to embody. Medusa’s Hair is as much her crown as it is her most trusted weapon. Shooting on set that day, we all truly felt as if we nailed Medusa’s dangerous regality. Imagine my shock and dismay, then, when I first heard people comparing me to a common Party City wig.
I am a classically trained, Sheinhardt Wig Company hairpiece of the theater who graduated from the Royal Tampa Academy of Dramatic Tricks. I’ve appeared well-regarded productions of Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, Evil Dead: The Musical, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.I am a veteran thespian who takes their craft very seriously, and if I’m being perfectly honest, I don’t think that I’ve been given a fair shot here.

I wholeheartedly stand by my performance, but I’d also like to remind everyone that in order to truly become Medusa’s Hair, a... small amount of computer-generated assistance was necessary. Before each day of shooting, I sat for hours with my personal stylist, who worked in tandem with our VFX department to make sure that every single one of my lustrous strands were fitted with those fancy motion-capture beads so that I could be made more imposing and agile in post-production.

From my perspective, what we managed to create for Inhumans is nothing short of a technological masterpiece. Honestly, I suspect that anyone who disagrees with me likely harbors some degree of unfair bias against me because I’m a wig trying to break into the high-profile, cutthroat world of modern superhero entertainment.

Motion-capture technology in films was not nearly as visually astonishing when Andy Serkis first booked Lord of the Rings, and yet he was subsequently given opportunity after opportunity to prove himself as a talented actor. Tell me: What does Andy Serkis have that I don’t?

I am a classically trained, Sheinhardt Wig Company hairpiece of the theater who graduated from the Royal Tampa Academy of Dramatic Tricks.
Before writing this letter, I reached out to my good friend Colette, the wig who played Storm’s hair in Fox’s first two X-Men films, for some advice about how to handle this entire situation.

“They’re just jealous,” she told me. “They want what you have and they’re frustrated that you can’t have it. Don’t run away from their negativity. Bathe in it. Lather yourself in its frothiness. Let it condition you to your roots and make you stronger.”

Colette’s right. Medusa’s Hair is the role of a lifetime . When the world finally gets to see my in all of my voluminous glory in IMAX theaters this September, I’m certain you’ll see my performance for what it truly is: art.

To my fans: thank you so much for believing in me and the story we’re all trying to tell with Inhumans. To my detractors: I didn’t come here to make friends. I came to make art. True art that taps into the beating heart of the human experience. That kind of art can be difficult for the average mind to grasp—something that will forever sadden me but will never deter me from chasing my dreams.

Sincerely,

Medusa’s Wig

This shit looks exactly how I felt it would look after we found out the showrunner for Iron Fist was on this.

Side note... Ramsey Bolton should have been one of the villains on Iron Fist instead of this show. I'm now convinced that he was born to be a villain.

I'd be willing to bet that Truth one starred this thread,,,,his hate for comic movies and threads about them rearing it's ugly head....AGAIN !!!!! :hmm:

.

Marvel just need to get rid of the showrunner.I don't understand, how they hire that guy that did Iron Fist to do this.....

I was looking forward to watching this and now my expectations are very low, because who the showrunner is...

You had the Inhumans already setup from Agents of Shield. All Marvel had to do was get a competent showrunner and the show would be great coming out of the box yet we get something totally different.

I didn't know nothing about the Inhumans until Marvel had the series as a TV movie originally. Now,Marvel was better off not doing it,if they're going to put this crap out.

I will give the show a chance, but like I said,my expectations are very low for the show.

I know this new show 'Inhumans' will be way better that dip shit that should have been cancelled a longtime ago called 'Agent of Shields'.

I think Marvel made this shitty on purpose, because Kevin Fiege didn't really want to do it and people were very excited for it to come out.

I think that's why they made it a TV show instead of a movie like they originally suppose to do.

I'm not saying they didn't want to make money from it,but I think their heart wasn't into making it.

Maybe, but the guy that made Limp Wrist made this and we know how that turned out...

Just saw the first two Imax episodes. If you remember that it's a ABC tv show and not a movie then you should be entertained. The story was good imo, not exceptional but it kept my attention.
The cgi on Medusa's hair, lock jaw and Atlantien looked ok for tv cgi, I've seen worse.

2017...going on 2018 and we still can't get more than a token black person
We get more alien looking characters than black
