The problem could be DC lack of diversity and the fact that they remake the same story time after time after time. It's funny how when DC ass a touch of color in Aquaman it's a hit. The world is tired of seeing the same thing over and over again. That's why marvel didn't want to just simply recast BP. Plus now they can really do the storm BP love story the right way and make fireworks on screen
