Dude, if you're mad because a fighting game doesn't have air blocking, you are better off not playing fighting games at all.
They might as well go all out and put every SF character in. Yes, even Remy. I'm pretty sure they'll throw Dante in as well.
As for the Marvel side, I'd say Deadpool is a given. I wouldn't mind seeing Blade or Nightcrawler.

True according to gameplay, but MvC2 was more fun and accessible to people. Gameplay improvements and balancing are king to me. Fuck having 100 characters and a unbalanced game.

Since I'm pretty sure this will be nothing more than Tatsunoko vs Capcom with some Marvel characters thrown in I'm a little less than enthused.
I always preffered the 2D graphics of Capcom's classic over what has become the norm with SFIV and TvC but given the success of the those titles that's now a thing of the past...I can only pray they never give Darkstalkers this treatment.

What? Blazblue 2D HD graphics> any fighting game today. I dont know why youre disappointed with it. Its a new series. Blazblue: Continuum Shift comes out on consoles July in Japan. To me best fighting game graphics period. Blazblue also had the best online for a fighting game yet.......
There is no way they are gonna be able to balance that many characters. MvC2 like the smash bros series isnt meant for serious play. But Americans love it so much they try to make it serious. It will be unbalanced.

and dont hit me wit the "its only in a few games" or "nobody use it crap" cause only the first 2-3 sf games dont have air block, the other dozen or so do

as far characters an new moves they need to go jack mugen
the game looks like crap but if they had a team of pros on the job that shit would be a beast
unlees there are air combos. i dont think there is a need for air blocking. No air blocking also adds more strategy in to the game. Makes you strategize more about doing jump ins. adding parries would have destroyed the zoning characters like Ryu and Dhalsim. it defeats the need of projectiles.(even though i dont use projectile characters).
