Seems like something happened with this show. It went from 6 episodes to 5? Seems like some production problems affected this because that last episode seemed forced and not necessary.
Good series. I liked it.
Only going to complain about one thing. This shit didn't need Kingpin. Don't get me wrong he's great but this shit should've been Echo's story. And Kingpin's character kind of does a disservice to her show and story. It's like they tried to have Echo replace Daredevil or emulate him and it wasn't necessary.

The issues throughout the production are well documented
Apparently what we got was a big salvage job
So for that?
I give them credit.
What's the issue? Why were their production issues? Because based on what I saw I have a feeling Marvel stuck their nose in some shit they shouldn't have.
That wasn't it.
Just didn't work.
Marvel usually tight with that in the past but in-house politics and Feige losing power etc etc messed up the flow. After some realignment and Feige back in power they reviewed EVERYTHING scaled back, cancelled and cut, fired, rehired got real showrunners for Echo and EVERYTHING ELSE.
Luckily they were able to salvage Echo with editing and reshoots and that helped in a way save Daredevil too.

That sounds like exactly what you described though....sounds like Marvel got involved......
And I say that because to me the best stuff of this show is when it's focused on Echo and her people. To me they dropped the ball on her character so much they could've did.
And yeah this search engine kind of hard to find stuff this is the only thing I could find on the show discussion IF figured there was something else here.

But again marvel was running the whole thing so that were never not involved.
The messed it up but rescued what they could and came out the other side better than expected plus learned from the experience.
Safe to say, she ain't coming back lol
