Hollywood is following suit in preventing black men from having a voice in Hollywood. Any and all black stories seem to be going to black women directors these days. Aside from Tim Story and a couple of others, if you're a black man, you don't have a chance in hell of directing in Hollywood.
Black male resentment is at an all-time high, from Obama to Kanye to Spike Lee. Amerikkka just wishes we would go away and would rather not deal with us.
I hope homegirl does the movie justice and I hope this doesn't become some co-lead bullshit story like Fury Road.
