Too much agenda pushing and catering to the LGBT has fucked up a lot of Star Wars and Marvel movies and tv series that could have been better. The fact that they have years if not decades of source material to go from and they still can't get it right because they want to put their personal spin on things :smh:

The rumor I heard when Disney finally had access to the X-men they also had bought the contracts that were already signed with actors from previous movies. They didn't want to pay those salaries so they had to wait until 2025 (I believe) so they can re-cast with some cheaper options.

Seems legit since the recent rumor was Disney was starting fresh with properties that were on Netflix, namely Dare Devil, because they didn't want to pay the old producers or show runners any future residuals. However, being cheap backfired because they spent a shit ton of money on the new Dare Devil show and scrapped it because it was awful. They ended up getting a show runner from one of the previous nextflix shows anyway.

Nah replace star lord with starfox and replace panther with photon(Monica rambeau) and have her as team leader also Add namor to the team. Then later down the line replace Thor with Hercules also drop dr strange moon knight and white widow since she will be in thunderbolts.That's the perfect late 80s avengers roster.

There was never any tease or build up to kang until the final episodd of loki

That’s a Sony property not an MCU movie though.

I think it’s time to pull the plug on the MCU though.
 
I didn't wade through this entire storm, but I feel like too much energy is being used trying to "fix" things. It's a common issue I have with creative teams, even though I get that it would seem to be the working solution to the problems they are dealing with.

The fact of the matter is that Marvel got lucky with their initial lineup. Not all luck, because they put the people in place to work with what they had. But succeeding with the Avengers was something that even they didn't expect to do on the level that they did it. And maintaining that was even a bit of a stretch.

The worst mistake that you can make is catching lightning in a bottle and then believing that you actually made that happen. You can't just grab another bottle and do that shit again. You still have to be careful with your product.

That said, I actually enjoyed there being a lot of new content out there. Some of it worked. Some of it didn't. But I didn't feel like I had to intake all of it in order to be successful. I also didn't feel like I had to personally enjoy each and every endeavor for the company to be successful. I feel like the semi-toxic fanbase is rearing its head, and you never want to fall into the trap of giving people what they think they want, because you run the risk of pleasing the wrong people, or trying to please people that will never be happy.
