Beck's ratings dropped, and Palin wasn't the TV draw they expected. If they were bringing in viewers they would still be on the channel.

And this is why MSNBC will always lose to faux. Nothing he said was untrue but they felt the need to appease the offended people who don't even watch their network and fired one of their best talents. Meanwhile faux allows its talking heads to spread as much hate and as many lies as they can fit into a 60minute segment and gives less than zero fucks about who complains.

Maybe this is payback for how he did Mike Jack though.

I didn't watch Martin Bashir that much, I was usually working when he was on,

But from the few times I did get to see him,

I knew he was going to be gone because he was telling too much truth.

They basically ran the same routine on Martin Bashir that they ran Kieth Olbermann.

My personal opinion is that the conservatives have got their hands in MSNBC some sort of way,

and Phil Griffin is their inside man.

The only reason they haven't effed with Rachel Maddow is
a. She brings in too much money and..
b. The gay and lesbian community would their (MSNBC) collective asses.

But lucky for us Rachel knows how to sidestep the bullshit.

I keep forgetting about them. A lot of cable providers are refusing to carry them, tho. I think vz fios is even dropping them this month, tho I think it is the provider that provides fios the content behind the move and not verizon themselves. I can't recall offhand. Edit they might not be dropping it, they might just be changing the broadcast channel.
