In the least....LJ contributed to the advancement and preservation of the Hip Hop and Rap culture as an art form. He should be RESPECTED for that.

True conscious black africans honor and acknowledge their ancestors and all that came before them for their accomplishments (no matter how great or small) with respect.

ESPECIALLY those who fought, wrote or sang about the hopes, dreams and wishes for the advancement of their people, those who spoke out against injustices that were being done to them or their people, those who died in the struggle to promote freedom, basic human rights, equality in education & fought against the establishment and all forms of racism against people of color.

I could say that LJ would be listed in this category waaay before MW. But that is just me.
