What you are missing is the following fact. They *Rush and Hannity* get their material from the press, and the cable news stations *mostly cnn, and MSNBC*. To say that Rush is lying is to say that the press is lying. So, when the press comes with a story after Rush talks about the original story does not mean Rush is lying. It means that the press should of got the story right in the first place.

Rush, and Hannity is only using the stories that the press presents.

I'm not missing that because it's not true. Rush and Sean take stories that are happening or have happened and distort them to score points with their audience. So, when I say Rush is lying, I mean Rush is lying because he's not telling the truth and looking at more objective news sources reveals the truth.

BTW, you cited mediamatters.org. Remember, Mediamatters was developed by the Clintons to combat Rush. I highly doubt they are "fair and Balanced" in their critique. The easiest way to make the right look like a bunch of liars is to always changing the perceived "truth", and "fact". Something the left are masters in.

I don't care about "fair and balanced" and neither do you. I care about being honest. Mediamatters listed many, many stories where Rush said one thing and the verifiable truth was something else. Show me someone, anyone who can show that Rush was telling the truth and MM is lying.
It seems the mastery of changing facts and truth is coming from the Limbaugh/Hannity people and their listeners. This ostrich strategy exercised by so many on the Right, they discredit their own political position by allowing and elevating cynical (they have to know they misinforming their audience, they just don't care because it's making them rich) carnival barkers to be your loudest voices. I don't agree with George Will very often but I don't see him, generally, as a liar. So stop pretending that it's about ideology and one day accept the fact that you and millions of others have been bamboozled by a fat, drug addled snakeoil saleman.
