Fact is he was in charge when the success was had
He spent the money to keep the teams together and put supporting players in place over all these years

The team was garbage when he got it so I have no problem starting it now and not two years ago

Fact 1. Cuban buys the Mavericks in January 4, 2000. The Mavericks record that season was 40-42.

Can you name the Mavericks GM who assemble the core of Nash Finely and Dirk.
Hell the GM who traded Robert Tractor Traylor for Dirk. I hardly see his name spoken. Now do you think it Mark would have the same level of success if did not buy a team that had traded for one of the greatest power forwards of all time??
The fact is this the core of players were there. Let's not make it seem like Mark Cuban bought the Mavericks and hire a new gm, a new coach, they drafted and traded for said players and change the franchise.
No Steve Nash Finely and Dirk were their and were starting to build chemistry by the time he purchase them.
Which is why I list the first off season with Cuban as the owner.

Are we talking about owners or coaches because Don Nelson was the coach of the Mavericks before Cuban bought the team. Now if we are talking about owners and the Bulls Jerry is the reason that the Bulls dissemble after a championship year.

No. In 2009 this team had Kevin Durant Westbrook and in the summer drafted Harden. The success the team had in 2010 has nothing to do with an owner just buying team.
You didn't hire the GM that drafted these players. You didn't hire the coach. You didn't hire the scouts. No this happen before you.
That is my point. Proky bought a team where the best player was devin harris and now that is Deron Williams.
Cuban bought a team that had Dirk.
Cuban made it work bruh by shelling out the cash and spending more in luxury tax than any other owner

We don't do it without him, if we had let's say whoever the suns owner is we don't get it done I threw that team out there cuz they had a nice ass squad who they let break up cuz they didn't want to pay them all. Clippers are another example. This was all under TE old system. Cuban is scared of the new one. But he spent 150 million in luxury tax alone. Almost double the lakers.

My point people are trying to say Cuban turned the Mavericks around. The way it look that was going to happen with or without him. Well to be more correct it was happening.
Now I give Mark Cuban credit for sticking with Dirk and not trading him or dismantling the team when many said he should. I give him credit for building the team that won the chip.
I'm put it like this. Mark Cuban had nothing to do with the core players that turned the Mavericks around. They were their before him.
He didn't hire the coach who made it work. He didn't hire the GM who traded for Dirk or acquired Nash and Finely.
As I said before we will really what Cuban can do when Dirk retires. That's when we will see what he is made of.
My thing is this if he doesn't like this CBA wait till 2016 it will get worse
