He isn't defending his position well...
its just as jumbled as Cuban's original words.
He isn't addressing Cuban's points and he isn't able to adequately respond to the opposition.
What SAS is saying has NOTHING to do with what Cuban is talking about.
SAS is using tired stereotypes. He is talking about sagging jeans and using slang and job interviews?
What in the hell does that have to do with the point Cuban himself apologized for?
We ALL understand people have prejudices...that isn't some grand revelation by Cuban.
What exposed Cuban is the SPECIFIC comparison he chose to use...
he KNEW he was going to be interviewed, he KNEW that he had previously made comments attempting to defend Sterling.
So if Cuban wants to continue with his 'smartest guy in the room' act then he has the suffer the consequences when he is called out.
SAS is wrong...not because we should be aware of our surroundings, realize our appearance effects how others treat us etc.
He's wrong because he KNOWS that Cuban was speaking from a position of power, of someone fully aware of how racism is institutionalized in this country and how he included has benefited and continued to benefit from it, that White people need to justify their years of oppression and enslavement of our people yet be seen as innocent and he pandered to that.
Ya'll want to fall for the okey doke fine...but remember all that basic bullsh*t SAS was spewing is exactly what THEY gonna use to continue to divide and conquer us.
