The funny thing about this idea to me is how it's inevitably going to be received by different categories of Mario Kart players.

Good players who typically finish first understand that this idea is ridiculous because it means you can be out of a perfectly legitimate victory which you earned through real effort and practice by literally ANY retard in the race. Bad players love it because they can be that retard, and because they're bad players and have never won a race, they don't understand that the point of the game is to win - not to cause someone else to lose.

it's horrible

Disadvantaging more capable people isn't fair.

Those being ahead would quit trying, since no matter how hard they do, they can't improve their lot anymore. And those people who already are ahead, tend to be the most productive people we have, i.e., the most productive people we have will lose their productivity.

I'm sure that wouldn't be a problem at all.

Read about kulaks, if you want to understand why this is retarded. Communism has had it's chance. It has consistently failed. Human nature serves as the major barrier.

Because Trickle down economics has worked so well for us right?

Russia and EE's low standard of life is still the result of so many decades of Soviet concepts.

Our society is made of capitalist and socialist systems. Paying a but more in taxes doesn't mean that we are going full communist. That's the issue with so many of you cats on the right.

The system described above isn't communism. Go learn political science. It would be democratic socialism, which is practiced in Scandinavia and France heavily. Sure as hell a lot better than extreme capitalism we practice here.

.

How do you define a person being ahead?

Exactly!
The flaw with this logic is that it assumes there can be only one winner. Life doesn't work that way.

For instance, if you are a Broadway actor you don't have to be the best actor to get work because there are multiple plays and even the best actor can only do one production at a time. It's also possible that the best actor has bad work habits, a drug addiction, or a temper which makes them undesirable to work with. This applies to every job every business in every area of life.

I specifically bring up acting because there is a confirmed fan theory that all the characters in the Mario universe are actors doing a performance. That's why Mario can be fighting Koopa in one game and be his best buddy in the next one. Even they believe in cooperation over competition

Some people are born ahead as well just like some people are born into shitty situations. Generally the ones ahead are gifted chances, but the ones below have to do the most overcoming and many fall to failure do to the amount of stress involved to come up.

That's a big part of it too. Fortunately, the ones who make it from the bottom tend to outperform the ones with all the chances
