Marco walking on some fucking eggshells out there. Ultimately, the title character is just another foreign piece that the Khan is using to his advantage. And Polo only spares his family because an Asian tells him it's the wise thing to do(he wanted to kill his fam for selling him out).
It's just amusing when you swap races of the characters. It shows how people are so easily dictated in their views.

Seriously, just from the discussions I've had on this board over the years I've grown and expanded on my views. I appreciate even the cats i debate with cuz it's allowed me to see things I might have said before and question my own view points and check my own hypocrisy.
You and I see eye to eye on this. There's an inferiority complex that sets in that won't allow some people to see anything but victimhood in anything. The truth about a group of people's history is not a story book that plays out all neat and clean.

Getting through the rest of these now. Great stuff. Gene, the way you get around people getting in their feelings about black on black crime is similar to how they did it here. Plenty of distractions. Sex scenes, martial arts... Action.
I wish it were that easy. Asians are a little more honest and accepting of history. They don't pretend to be hippies who all got along before the 'barbarians'(white man) came. Shit, you have cats talking shit about this production and it isn't even dealing with African society.

He put his arm back together in the middle of a fight..he knew he lost at that point.
Too many things to hit on since it's all 10 episodes but it was really well done and looking forward to season 2.
I have no idea how Ahmed has that painting in his crib like nobody will ever see it between now and whenever his master plan is executed..

Empress probably knows what she did and would do the same in her situation so lying for her is the only way to really protect her. Plus it's a win because they have that royal claim to where she's from in title.
Kaidu was just tired of dying. it's always his men that have led the charge but not himself leading them and they kept getting their asses kicked. like he said, if he put them in the khan's hands 1 more time and they got their ass whooped 1 more time they'd leave him. he had no reason to trust the shit would work this time when they got destroyed the other 2

but what really happened is the cricket minister hit a pressure point and caused the damage...remember he cannot see what the guy is doing but once he got hit with that specific move he knew what style his opponent was fighting in and countered by fighting in his own style.. peep how right after it and cricket rushed after about 3 moves they locked hands in the same position cause hundred eyes knew what was coming.
he even ended him by executing the same pressure point move cricket used on marco..
