The point is Kap was denied an opportunity to make a team not because of his ability or lack thereof, but because he called attention to unarmed black men being gunned down by white police. No one would gripe if he was cut from a team for lack of performance, but if you seen nothing wrong with him not being given a chance to even compete because a bunch of old white owners decided they can't have one of their paid employees speaking and acting out of turn then you've lost focus of the bigger issue . It ain't about football, it's about silencing legitimate protest.

3) In Seattle he told them he would be a backup (just like he old every team). They never even gave him a workout. Let alone offered him a contract.
