Exactly my point. You're taking shit about something you literally have no idea about. You don't know what my job is. But you're quick to run your mouth and criticize what I do to support my family. You wouldn't have shit to say if I was flipping burgers though.
I actually have taken a stand. I tell everyone that will listen that we need educational programs for inmates. These guys are locked up with nothing to do.
I talk to young brothers and older men in prison every single day and implore them not to repeat the mistakes that lead them to Rikers.
I take drugs and weapons away so they don't hurt themselves and others.
I make sure no one commits suicide or gets their booty hole violated.... Thats what I do.
As for the race soldier bullshit 75% of city correction officers are minorities. I've never witnessed a white correction officer use the word ******. The worst I've seen is a Spanish officer call a Spanish inmate a spick.
But if I ever came across a dirty officer black, white or yellow I'm reporting that shit.
