My mans wife got murdered in bmore and it's like I can't even get the words to say much to him. She was only 29 and they only been married a year or so, dude is shook like a mother fucker and I really think that it's still not sunk in that she ain't coming back. I know niggas like to talk shit on here about their wives and shit, but honestly that shit just made me realize that this shit ain't given just because we are young, this shit can go at any given moment and it just made me appreciate my fiancee even more.

I just be seeing dude just posting random pics of his girl on FB and that shit almost brings tears to a niggas eyes.

Appreciate your loved ones fellas, all that cheating and nagging and shit won't do nothing but make you feel like a sorry motherfucker if you lost her.

These streets are mean bruh, I lost my cousin in B'more back in 1991, they found him with 2 in his chest sitting in his car that my Uncle had given him a year prior, a souped up 1979 Monte Carlo, he was only in his twenties as well, case is still unsolved.

Condolences to your friend re: his wife's passing. Totally hear you about life being too short. We've lost 4 key family members in the past 6+ years now, and we were already a small family to begin with. Rest in peace.

yeah that what my fiancee said. she also said she hope she wasn't cheating, I pray for the sake of my man that she wasn't. This shit just seems too rage filled, like a crime of passion or something.

i am kin to lots of criminals... many of which are still locked down.

Capt. James Monahan, commander of the Franklin Precinct, discussed the stabbing death of 29-year-old Melinda Schaefer, of Dundalk, at the Reisterstown Improvement Association meeting June 18.

June 14, Schaefer, a property manager with The Townes at Harvest View in Reisterstown, was found stabbed to death at The Townes' leasing office on Augusta Ridge Road just before 11 a.m.

Monahan said that no arrest has been made as of yet, but the investigation is going well. He said the stabbing does not appear to be a robbery or random act, but emphasized that the community should be cautious because the perpetrator is still out there.

"It's a tragedy," Monahan said. "This one happens to be a tough one. It's a pretty brazen act to commit this crime in daylight."

Monahan said they hope to clear the case in the next few days.

Man it's tough to console and comfort grieving loved ones. I was in the ministry and had to deal with how to confront those who are grieving.

There is no one single answer for every single person or situation. Basically just be there for them and gauge or ask what their needs are at that moment. Those needs may change as the process goes on.

Some want people to talk to and others want to be left alone. Some want to stay busy. Some are quiet and some are more talkative about it. Whatever their reaction is is not a wrong reaction unless it is destructive somehow to themselves or others.

This is also an active murder investigation so there will be lots of details involving funeral arrangements and the ongoing demands of the police investigation. Once again ask what you can do to help. Only he can answer that question.

Hope the case is resolved quickly.
 
Try and stay positive bruh. Shit is going to sting forever, but the pain will ease over time. Just be there for your homie. As more info comes out there may be something's that he didn't know about.

Definitely support your dude and try to get him to go to counseling. He probably feel like if he was with her he could of protected her. Now dude got rage and no where to direct it. That shit is real sad :smh:

That's fucked up.

Be there for your boy when it does sink in. Stay close. Get him drunk if he needs it, let him cry if he needs it. If he starts going off the deeps then take him out somewhere. If he needs some space then give it to him, but always keep the phone close at hand. Just don't let him develop any new bad habits.

I went through something similar not too long ago. No matter how much you adapt and adjust to the loss it still haunts you from time to time. Not just the emotional loss, you also lose the financial support, the companionship, the confidence. Basically you start to realize everything they used to do for you and hope that you can fend for yourself half as well without her. Make him know that he can. Also, be prepared to help with the funeral if necessary.
 
Well the funeral was tuesday, he got her ashes. I pray to god they catch the nigga who did it, if it unveils some shit or not. Nobody deserve that shit
