It isn't about right or wrong if the ppl against u are going to shoot without hesitancy. Yes the police were wrong, but the man has multiple bullet wounds and he's facing life in prison. And he's gonna be out of alot of money to get a good lawyer just to lessen the jail time.

Cops job is to deescalate situations. You can the male cop didn’t want to use force (assuming he was black based on voice). The female cac cop immediately came off aggressive and you could tell she wanted to use deadly force. Just listen to her telling the wife to get back inside. She. She could’ve used the wife to help calm the brother. That’s brother didn’t do anything wrong, he doesn’t have to talk calm if he’s feeling harassed. Stop defending these cops. Saying he was wrong is basically justifying the cops actions.
I don't think it's a question of right and wrong, but it's a question of smart or stupid.

The female cop needs to be fired and sued immediately. As for dude, even if he didn't have a firearm on him, he was wilding out with making all them hand movements and putting his hands behind his waist like that. It's dark and the cops were obviously armed. No need to give them an easy excuse of saying he was reaching for something for why they fired. His Nest camera will probably be his only saving grace from how the cops and media will try to spin it.

It shows that he did not draw & discharge his weapon until after the officers shot at him first. Someone already posted an article in here where news reports are implying that he fired at the cops and that the cops then returned fire. He'll probably still face charges but the video should vindicate him from being the initiator and aggressor in the shooting.
Yeah once you start shooting on cops any "saving grace" you may have had pretty much goes out the window. There would have to be some pretty egregious errors on the cops behalf leading up to and after the events for your situation to have a chance.

He most likely gave up them rights when he stepped off his stoop to return fire. He must've thought he was fighting against street hoods or was re-enacting a scene from 4 Brothers to do that. All common sense and logic hauled ass from that scene
