A man has been charged with murder after allegedly shooting his girlfriend's co-worker at her apartment on Thanksgiving Day.

On November 27, 2025 around 12:15 p.m., police say officers reported that 31-year-old Jon Christopher Fuller shot 28-year-old Cameron Hoilette at the Summit Centre Way apartment in Maitland, Florida. Officers arrived at the scene and found Hoilette lying on the bedroom floor.

Officers gave CPR until Maitland Fire Rescue arrived and took over. The victim was pronounced dead approximately 15 minutes later.

Fuller's girlfriend, Nila Lindsey, told detectives she was redoing her co-worker's hair when Fuller arrived at her door.

An argument ensued, and according to the police report, "The victim stated, if there was a problem, he would just leave, and that he only came to get his hair braided. Without warning, the defendant pulled out a firearm and shot the victim in the face."

Investigators said Fuller then got into his car and asked Lindsey to leave with him.

"She told him no, and he replied he was going to drive back home," the report said.

Fuller was detained by the Orange County fugitive unit on West Fairbanks Avenue in Winter Park later that day.

Allegedly, Fuller and Lindsey had been in a relationship for nearly a year and a half.

Lindsey moved from West Palm Beach about two months ago, and Fuller had mentioned finding a job nearby.

However, Lindsey told detectives, "Due to the long-distance relationship, they began having issues, and the defendant started accusing her of cheating."

Lindsey said Fuller called her the day before the incident, stating he missed her and wanted to visit on Thanksgiving.

"She informed him not to come over, due to her being busy and having plans," the report said. But Fuller came anyway.

Fuller pleaded not guilty to the murder charge. Fuller is currently held in the Orange County Jail without bond.

:smh: Another insecure bitch ass emotional ass nigga. Now his dumbass gotta go sit down and spend most of his life commited to a booty farm while she go get her back blown out by another.

Alot of details missing from the story tho. What did dude say or do for ol boy to shoot him in the face?
Well it seemed like shorty made it seem he already had jealousy issues.. Than she pretty much said I'm busy for the holidays.. Well a jealous dude pop up and another nig in the crib when your girl supposed "to be busy" it ain't really that much to be said

If the dude on the left was the one that got shot, I think he legit was just getting his braided cause in that pic he don't look like he interested in pussy if you know what I mean.. he look twanish
Now some other dude gonna be shutting her out while he's locked up.
Dibbs on the girlfriend, depending on a face pic of course, I'll just make sure that ole boyfriend don't leave that jail alive...... or straight .... now that I know what to look out for/expect
sidebar: it's the BGOL way

Lindsey— who was nine months pregnant— didn’t try to stop him because she “assumed” he was “just going to watch her braid” 28-year-old Cameron Hoilette’s hair, per WESH 2. But he did not, the affidavit stated.

Without warning, and after Hoilette said he “would just leave and that he only came to get his hair braided,” Fuller allegedly shot him in the face, thinking she was cheating on him. Lindsey, scared she was next, fled the apartment.

Yeah dude was tripping.

I watched the news clip and caught that piece of information that she's 9 months pregnant and immediately thought this guy is more emotional than a fully pregnant woman.

JC Fuller has struggled with mental illness for longer than any of us have known. Once a professional basketball player who played at the JUCO and D1 levels, competed overseas, and helped train young athletes, JC was a loving father, friend, and partner. During his professional career Jc has experienced many concussions throughout his basketball career and in that along with any mental challenges he was already dealing with…. Over time, his mental health challenges became overwhelming, despite the best efforts of his family and loved ones to support him. Unfortunately, his illness led to a devastating tragedy—one that has forever changed the lives of many. Jc has not passed, but someone has lost their life and countless life’s (including Jc’s children) will forever be altered.

JC’s first child, Aaliyah, who is 9 years old, was/is truly the light of his life and everyone who knew/knows him could see that. Even when he was struggling with mental illness, his love for Aaliyah was never in question. She at times, is the only light in his darkest times.
