Man, 79, sentenced to 90 days of house arrest in 5-year-old girl's rape

Apparently, Chester had some long paper. He was the founder of Rare Parts Inc. Here's a statement from the company's president.

STATEMENT

On behalf of Rare Parts, Inc. I wish to express my sadness for the crime attributed to our company’s founder and former company officer. What makes this particularly painful is that the person I am referring to is my father. As a father myself, I feel horrible for any victim of child molestation and their families. As the company president, I also feel horrible for our loyal employees.

Lyle Burgess has not been involved in our business operations since 2014, two years before the incident occurred.

We can understand why people in the community are angry over the plea bargain, but neither I nor our company played any role in the disposition of this criminal matter. As the president of this company for over 13 years, I am proud of our employees, our integrity and professionalism. I hope to have the opportunity to maintain the trust of our customers.

Dude is your dad and you didn't know he was Touchy McFeely?

*two cents*

How the fuck is raping a 5 year old considered statuary?

I had to find why this happened. Apparently, he did not physically rape the child. He was accused of molestation and sexual abuse. That may be why.

Either way... his ass should be under the jail.

That shit is still not consensual with a 5 year and I thought that was whole basis of whether rape is considered statuary or not. I’m sorry this muthafucka would be dead if I’m the father. I’d be preparing for jail time myself.
