What are your plans for the mothers in your life? I am cooking breakfast and a BBQ. Too many to buy gifts for.
 
Mother's Day in the UK is different from that in the US. We have mother's day here on March 2.

Then I took my mum out for dinner on a boat which was crusing down the River Thames...

This would be a great birthday gift for mine but she always wants to just chill.

Mother's day is a religious holiday as well over there. Here, it's purely secular and all about gifts, flowers and expensive dinners. It's the busiest restaurant day of the year in the U.S.
 
we're just going to IHOP. we don't really celebrate birthdays or holidays either.

We only do Christmas because of my daughter. She's the only child in the immediate family, and the first female of my last name born in 75 years. She has a trust waiting.

There are a few females in my mother side, though.
 
I made breakfast........turkey bacon, scramble eggs, turkey sausage, biscuits.

Lunch I just seasoned the chicken legs, thawing out the chicken frank, turkey franks,and ground turkey. gotta go get some steaks.
 
Let's see we got ribs, brats, fish, chicken, baked beans and corn on the cob and its all going on the grill in about an hour. Oh yeah the fish is sitting in a moonshine marinade. :D
 
I'm taking my Moms, Mother In law, and wife to Outback. There having some kind of special today. After the playoffs of course.
