Malcom X would be HATED by BGOL if he said this today.

Malcolm never implied that we act foolishly or hastily. Why would he? He was all about black people fighting and working towards a peaceful and progressive life. …. "by any means necessary" means by any intelligent and logical action done in order to achieve progress.
Agreed. You and I both know what Malcolm meant.... so my question was directed towards the folks who champion Malcolm's sentiments, but at the same time they still refuse to Vote. What is THEIR plan? Pick up a gun & run up on the White House? Or keep sitting on the sidelines on Election Day? Or do something else? If so, Like what? That's the question.

Lol.inlike that one. I would say the same to him, right there, while he's IMPLYING, other people should've done it .this is why I don't like so called leaders. Real leaders are business owners, job creators , entepreneurs and risk takers that make opportunities that either make jobs for other people , or inspire them to do so. Also father's, uncle's, and people who help the people within their circle of influence.
Like the NOI have always done, for the most part.

And the immigrant shill @Drayonis is really trying hard to push the fallacy that Malcolm was not the son of a native, so-called black man.

:smh:
Believe his pops was half Granadian.
But those early 1st wave immigrants before our civil rights struggles, weren't looking at us foundationals with contempt.

They recognized our struggles and weren't active trying to undermine progress like today's Coodice Owens and that fag speaking out against reparations at the congressional hearing (forgot his name).

Caribbean folk dont recognize Malcolms dad because he not from the islands. You have to be Caribbean or white to get noticed. They say Malcolms mom was asexual and had him alone. And they recognize Malcolm as "Grenada Red" instead of "Detroit Red".
Ayoooo
:roflmao2:

I agree with Malcolm but we dont hold the power we once had...Jim Clyburn and SC notwithstanding..at least from an economic point of view...they just needed us for our votes, but there has been no real policies identified specifically for black folk since Obama proposed My Brother's Keeper..

"a coordinated Federal effort to address persistent opportunity gaps faced by boys and young men of color and ensure that all young people can reach their full potential. "
Includes Ese's, chinks, and eskimos.

But think about what you just typed. The best thing to happen to Black folks is a bill signed by BO that affects a small percentage of our Black youths.

Is this what we should settle for and be happy about?

Absolutely not, but my larger point was that blacks dont hold the power we once had...honestly I think we wasted a great opportunity when Clinton was elected to build a stronger economic base so we could present more viable candidates to run for national offices...also when Obama was elected...there should be more black senators and governors than there are...this goes back to Malcolm talking about being politically mature..

Cant disagree with that at all.

My whole stance now, and the Phalanx of Faggotry pretends to ignore, is that I believe in Quid pro quo .
If you want my votes, "what are you going to do for me and my people."
Nothing? Ok cool, i wont vote for you then.

@Watcher is actually referred to in my first post.
Call him scary ass chicken little

You bitch if I voted for a republican.
You bitch if I vote Democratic and call me a shill.

Who do you vote for Soul? You know it all post who we should vote for.

Stop being a coward for once.

Primaries are right now. Post who you voted for or say you voted for no one.

I am happily voting for however is making the Black community stronger. I am voting for the person whom has pledged to close the racial wealth gap.

Fuck all of the naysayers who try to distract and detract with bullshit identity debates.
What he said was 100% true.
I don't trust these fonts on BGOL pretending to be one of us and throwing shade to the message. You infiltrators try to seed doubt but truth be told, we can easily be as strong of a community as we once were. All we have to do is will it to be so.
This is why I spit against tools of the cracker like feminism. The divide of the black community is paramount to white success. Division of home and family shakes the foundation of the community.
IF we actually did come together and demand change in our favor and put our money behind the power of our words, we could bring about positive change. If we'd stop debating over stupid shit and focus, it wouldn't matter who was President. We could make the grassroots MFs (city council, mayors, governors, etc.) do what the hell we want them to. If we economically flexed on them, they'd bend the knee.
But as always, people let these coons and ofays stir the conversation in another direction.
Y'all even let them make you believe that we don't have the power to make any change.

Malcolms dad was a full blooded ADOS from Georgia. They downplay his dad's heritage so they can portray Malcolm as an immigrant even though he never even went to Grenada to my knowledge and never referenced himself as such.

how are we gonna obtain anything by not voting? Voting is 1 part, you have to help/force that individual you voted for to do whats in your best interests.
Oh yeah, exactly how has all that voting advanced black folk as far as equality in this country in 2020? question 1

How many more years of voting will it take for black folks to be considered equals in this country? question 2

Oh word?

So whats the plan then, how are we gonna obtain anything by not voting? Voting is 1 part, you have to help/force that individual you voted for to do whats in your best interests. So I ask the question of you-do-not-voters - what is your plan to help our community since i shouldnt vote?

How do you force someone to do what's in your best interest if they already got into office? Why would they need to do what you ask for?

Amen to all that brother.

My main question is why don't our people stay on code like whites do? Why didn't many people understand Malcolm's message?

Before Malcolm we had Marcus Garvey and others who were basically preaching the same message but it often got ignored, overlooked or misunderstood.

Whites don't need to be preached to in order to understand their role, they immediately stay on code when it comes to preserving their own interest.

Our unity and understanding of our cause needs to be stronger and more collective... if we all learned to say on code imagine just how much greatness we could achieve.

Chumps is what he calls em and he's 100% correct.

Standing behind a party or taking a position of someone who always puts you last on their agenda after they get in the white house.....Chump or a sucka is what you call them

Seriously though. Every fucking time something similar to what Malcolm said is typed on BGOL folks get in their feelings. :smh: Don't let the party put us last = :eek2: "republican'! to some of these cats.

Why ain't cats tag me for this thread? I miss the real shit for some bullshit.

Yep.

HOWEVER - I fear it may - be too late.

If Biden gets through his immigration agenda? The Democrats will KNOW they no longer our vote.

Only saving grace, I could be wrong, is that I don't think most immigrant groups will vote in the percentage that Black voters did for the Democrats.

As I've said many times before - they(Democrats) maybe in for a rude awakening.
