Is Maino connected or something? This is the 3rd or 4th instance of him having some other rapper shook.
Peace BROTHER,
Before I say what I say, let me preface by saying I don't dislike or have personal issues with this Manio guy. I just don't give a fuck about him like 99.5% of the "rappers" out currently.
I doubt if he connected to shit. He just a dude who did some time at a very young age and came home intimidating certain dudes, who he he know would be susceptible to the intimidation move.
When I hear about this cat:
1. Running up in Record Company offices because:
a. Exec's were disrespect'in and fuck'in up the culture
b. Checking them for putting out bullshit music
c. And(Manio) is check'in crackers just like I checked "trinandad shame"
d. Manio, is letting Execs know deals is fucked-off. And they need to put out an apology video to the fans.
e. Tear-up and void all the old contracts...
"SO WE CAN GET TO A BETTER PLACE"!
2. Run up on:
a. Whoever the (allow me to go old school racial insult) "honky" is that got all the energy prices flying through the roof!
b. Manio, fill him in on his observation of dis-respect to his city and culture
c. Lay down his ultimatums...
"SO WE CAN GET TO A BETTER PLACE"!
3. Run up on BLOOMBERG:
a. about this "STOP AND FRISK" bullshit
b. Let Bloomberg know how feel love your city and this would not work in Chicago, LA, Atlanta, Miami, Detroit
c. Manio, is taking this as a challenge
d. And this is what I need you to do BLOOMBERG...
"SO WE CAN GET TO A BETTER PLACE"!
When I even hear this dude broach the idea these are issues, he might need to speak on, he might get some respect.
All this dude is doing is running up on:
1. Industry dudes (who are generally closeted homos...not that some homos can't throw down)
2. Dudes shook already by this image...Manio, the wild released convict, supposed real dude in the streets and industry.
Has anybody heard of Manio running up on 1 guy or known for "NOT BUY'IN IT"? No, just timid borderline homo, industry types.
Manio, may have hurt himself for opportunities with-in and outside the industry by coming off as a ruffian, bully and possible problem (prone to violence). "trinidad shame" bitch-made as he is, came off shook as a mutha but diplomatic, contrite, humble, apologetic and flexible (easy to work with).
If I'm and Industry Exec (thinking as an "EXEC" and not a "FAN"), I'm fuck'in with "trinidad shame" all day. Because the bottom line is:
1. Less potential problems (ie. violence at offices, concerts and just moving thru life)...Who needs problems?
2. What does talent mean in todays landscape?
3. Appeal to possible wider demo
4. This is the
"BUSINESS" of music not the "music" business!
And who wants unnecessary drama and violence when millions are invested.
Hopefully, Manio gets revealed for the cowardly, bully he is, I hope its recorded him getting his clock cleaned and shit busted.
