Snapz Pro X allows you to effortlessly record anything on your screen, saving it as a QuickTime® movie or screenshot that can be emailed, put up on the web, or passed around however you want. Snapz Pro X 2.x costs $69. Upgrades from Snapz Pro X 1.x w/ movie capture are $20.

Why take a static screenshot when Snapz Pro X makes creating a movie just as easy? Snapz Pro X does that, and so much more! Download a free demo version right now, or check out the demo movies we’ve created and see for yourself.

Snapz Pro X is a quantum leap in video capture technology, adroitly capturing full motion video of anything on your screen at a blistering pace, complete with digital audio, and an optional microphone voiceover. Think of it as a digital video camera for your screen. Snapz Pro X makes short work of making training videos, producing product demos, creating tutorials, archiving streaming video, and anything else you can think of.

Apple Button + Shift then the #3 let's you do the whole screen
Apple Button + Shift then the #4 let's you select what you want to copy

i'm sure the program takes up space and has a few fancy things to make you happy you're downloading it...
don't download a program for something you can do at the ease of your fingertips.

i need to buy a mac ..keep putting it off.

Anyone know which one is the best mac to high end cgi work??

When you say "High-End CGI"...."HOW HIGH" ?!? 3D or 2D.

I do a lot of 3D.

I have run ZB3 with Bootcamp on a iMac. I think it's only 2 gig of RAM on it.

I can also run Maya on the iMac. Doesn't get much higher than that.

If you want super power, then go with the MacPro. I have Quad.

BTW, MacBookPro is also good but when you do heavy production stick with a big CPU.

Snapz Pro is a nice little program to have and it doesn't take up much space. I used to use it to record youtube shit before I learned how to download it.

He didn't state his OS version. If he's on 10.3.9 or earlier than Snapz Pro is needed. Even if he's on 10.4 or 10.5, Snapz Pro records video. Nothing wrong with someone posting the link and sharing the warez, right? I ain't mad. This thread is done now.

Don't be fooled about SnapZ Pro.

There's an emphasis on "Pro". Pro always mean moneymaker.

I used it last year to create and sell "how to" DVD on 3D character animation.

The DVD's sold in Germany, Spain, France, UK and Brazil. The DVDs sell for $85 a pop and I did it from my desktop here at home. I haven't promo'd them and they sold well. Essentially, there's no overhead to sell information. It's a boon.

Paid my cellphone bill every month.:dance::yes:

Yo, fellas. Thanks for all the help. I got what I needed and appreciate all of you posting help.
