Told Ya'll.

Cam an ass too...he still got some jokes off about mase leaving Harlem again. They both on that bullshit though.

Must be a Harlem thing.

Told ya'll they will be on a record soon probably on the dip set album.

The question is did Cam’s response cut Mase’s soul?

People were saying similar things about Ether, but notice how many times Jay had to respond. Blueprint 2 was his angriest album by far.

In these battles, the one who responds first usually loses.
Jay-Z sounded like a wounded camel after Ether. The fact he had to make two diss tracks after Ether proves how in his feelings was.

The crazy thing is, objectively speaking, Takeover was better than Ether as it dealt with facts and he only spent one verse on Nas. Looking back it, Jay-Z won the battle when it came to those two songs.

But the fact he made Superugly, had to apologise because his mom made him and to then release the Blueprint 2 diss track shows Ether really got to him and thus he lost the war.

Lol@ the mixtape name

Both of them are hasbeens tho
The youth dictate the wave and they not feeling them geezers.
And thats coming from a HUGE fan of both past works
Why is it only hip hop fans want to dictate the expiry date on rappers? This is why the culture is trash today. EVERY other music genre holds its veterans in high esteem: be it festivals, collaborations, awards etc. Yet clowns like you want to make asinine comments like this.

This is one of the reasons why untalented mumble rappers are ruling the game.

Just listen to his vibe on verses off Bitches and Sisters and Popping Tags, both songs where Ether clearly affected him.

It’s no big deal. Many rappers have had come to Jesus moments in their careers where it spilled out on an album.
:roflmao3::roflmao3::roflmao3:

certified clowns . The both of em
Cant take either of em serious after that.

Mase stayed away tho.. Cam still trying to recapture what he once was or wasn’t lmaoo

No matter what Mase was and will always be the biggest rap star out of Harlem..

Mase WAS that dude, no questions about it. At 16 yrs old i walked to the mall to cop harlem world, hat to the back waves spinning. Dude set the trend to come for many yrs. i even liked the double up cd.He cannot be taken serious tho too much flip flopping. The last straw for me was his gunit stint, certified clown after that.Cam was a good arist, just never grew artistically.cams music is recycled babble at this point.

Fab & jay show u how to last. Jay over 40, fab pushing 40, no one telling them to hang it up , they still got it. They make music thats relatable from the days oness to the new generation.
LL was like the greatest at reinventing himself generation after generation.

This is funny. It’s kind of a given that people say Takeover spit facts...what facts were those? The beat was dope and the lyrics were great but... it was opinion and jokes just like ether.

Even when they are still doing shows and making money. That's just some hater shit...

It was. A lot of rappers drop albums after a heated beef where it’s clear they’re on some back against the wall shit.

Check BDP’s Sex and Violence after the X-Clan beef. LL’s G.O.A.T. album after the Cannibus beef. It’s clear throughout the album they were in their feelings.
That BDP sex and violence was dope though

Stop. I’m not even a Jay-Z fan. I was a Nas Stan before his cooning but Takeover was facts. Nas had fallen off. He went from Illmatic to Oochie Wally. Jay-Z was fucking his baby mother, and his album at the time of the diss record was such a drop it quality from his first two.

Well. I never was a Nas or Jay-z Stan. Enjoyed both disses. But if you actually look at the lyrics, he’s saying Nas only had one dope album at the time. I disagree. Sure he fucked his baby moms but what else were facts?

Shit. I thought Nas had one wack album...his last one before Takeover. Oochie Walley was wack, but I didn’t think he had the worst verse on the song. Guess that’s my opinion. No need for a thread derail

I hear that. At the time, Ether was more the more entertaining diss to me because it was just raw unbridled hate. Looking back at it with older ears, a lot of the insults just came across as childish with all the gay insults.

We’ll just agree to disagree.

understood...

but it WAS completely unnecessary

and was over WAY to quick to even be entertaining

and didn't feel like an old school battle cause Cam bee beefing with EVERYBODY lately

I feel Mase won here cause he sounded damn good.

I knew from jump it was just brothers beefing and on that level it was OK

but Cam aint come back with adequate heat especially since HE is the one with the new album out

(but this buzz was great definitely helped sales and streams, so again like I said its a Harlem thing)

Mo' MONEY.

Cam on a tour for that mixtape forreal no bullshit. Mase bless him but he's had a couple weeks to plan the sneak attack. People screaming for the response by that same night. The nigga rushed something mediocre out to please the masses. Then people complain the shit don't sound good.
It was months a couple years almost that Jay z and Nas beef simmered. Takeover didn't come out then Ether come out the next day.

black rob & G-dep the only dudes with a harlem flow that were gritty and you believed they were just that.

Mase swung back at Cam,Cam and dipset were thirsty to relight that fire under their asses cause just reuniting isn't good enough.

Dougie fresh,Big L,Mcgruff,MaseBlack rob & G-dep,Cam & dipset......when it comes to fucking with that mic.

Cam needs a track where he can lean on,not the other way around....
