Luda dissing Drake and Big Sean ???

Nigga please. Ask ANY artist in the industry if they want a Grammy and see what answer you get. That's like the championship of the music industry. It damn sure ain't no bet or mtv awards.

Oh ni99as definitely want it, because it's validation from the mainstream, but it sure as hell doesn't factor in when deciding which album is a classic.

I have a very good idea as to why I think it's Chingy, and it sure as hell wasn't about 2 chainz, and I have no idea why you wanted me to go back to read that article, because I never once mentioned Big Sean up to that point.

Honestly, what was the point of you telling me to read that article??

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Tity Boi and Luda are still super tight. I was thinking either Chingy, Lil Fate, I-20, or Shawnaa.

how? winning a championship and having a classic album is in the same category as the highest accomplishment an individual in each respective profession can obtain..peep how Jay always putting himself in the same category as Jordan and Russell..

Bro...I'm not even gonna debate you if you think that analogy makes any damn sense

Classic Albums

You can give the same argument as to why certain T.I. and Luda albums are or aren't classic albums. Regardless of that, they BOTH have multiple albums that I can put on and jam to this day without skipping a track. They both have made songs that you can fight to, fuck to, cry to, zone to, ball out to, and just live to. Both are Legends in the game.

Didn't Kanye beat both them niggaz to it with Good Life?

I pop the hood, Ferrari
Haters give me them salty looks, Lawry's

This track is ill btw...need the mp3...Drake musta thought this was gonna be a repeat of Nicki/Kim

Yall saying luda ain't a legend need to do some homework. Dude been out since 98, numerous hits, platinum albums. I think him or diddy had the record for most top 10 billboards or something like that. So yea, legend is right. It damn sure ain't jadakiss lol

Just cause you go platinum does'nt make you a legend. He is absolutley in the same brackett as Jadakiss. Both been out for years both have platinum work under their belt but their both just missing something. Jada is more of a Legend then Luda

The ONLY reason why I wouldn't call Luda a legend ... Because I think Luda's legendary status is STILL GROWING... He's got the numbers to be call a legend... but for some reason I feel like LUDA hasn't put out HIS MASTERPIECE yet... and I place emphasis on the word 'YET'....

Maybe you should check the list of rappers who actually won that award lol. It ain't many but most of the albums from outkast to ye are classic albums. Even puff wack ass got a classic under his belt with that no way out, even though it ain't cause of him but his artists at the time.

No need to keep making comparisons between these two either. If there were a hip hop hall of fame, Luda would get in off the strength of his sales, cross over success and skill. Jada would get in off of his skill and influence. Again, both Legends in the game.

Look at the ni99as who dropped classics that the Grammy's have never even heard of, though.

Again, they've gotten it right a few times, but nobody's is throwing "That album won a Grammy, son" into their classic album debate.

Black Reign won over Doggystyle!!!

Enter the Wu-Tang should've took that one.

Get rich, Blueprint, College Dropout can all be considered classics for the 00's.

Classics are considered timeless masterpieces. Hell, Black Album is timeless. The Carter 2 would be considered timeless since they still play 30% of the album in the club STILL.

Luda should be considered as a legend just off longevity alone. Roughly 12 years in the game, and he kept a unique style. Not too many can do that.

Luda ain't legendary. He's made a bunch of club bangers and made money. That's good but he's not on anyone top 10 or top 20.

This is what people don't understand. 12 years ain't no hoe. The average rapper may last 3-6 years if that

Jadakiss raps the same on every song lol. Lyrically he is nice, but flow wise, not so much. Shit Drake been out a lil while and has shown more flows than that nigga even though Drake does have that one flow he uses A LOT
I cannot tell a lie your right. Jada happens to be one of my favorite rappers. But if I had to tell it like I see it Drake >Jadakiss>Ludacris .. Jada's just not an animated rapper and he does have that 1 flow. But it's his subject matter and the way he tells stories that's entertaining. But Honestly I reiterate I cannot argue with what you just said,I would have to say your right..

Basically...cats is being very liberal w/ terms like "classic" and "legend"

Only 2 artists mentioned in here so far warrant being called legends and that's Snoop and Wu-Tang (as a group)

Exactly. And it's not just about his longevity. It's about the great music he's made and the respect that he's earned during those 12 years.

Dude is a beast, but to me he's no different than Jada Kiss. He cant make a album to save his life, A legend has to have a classic album.

No classic album???? You can bang Luda's first offering in the trunk like without playing the overplayed "Fantasy" joint and it seems like he just hit the scene. That shit is timeless.

True but c'mon we got nigga who been in the game longer then that and hardly get that sort of respect and they put in more work then Ludacris period.

LL Cool J (greatest rapper alive)

Rakim (Luda said it best in that rhyme)
And so on..

And so on..

Luda is nooo Legend he's nice but not legendary status:smh:

Snoop has one certified classic album. Wu-Tang (as a group) also has one. What's the criteria?

i don't bang luda in the trunk. Jay is timeless. Luda's first album was a good one. That's about it. Hell he's a better actor.
