Lowes pulls delivery driver off delivery for customer because he's black

Lowe’s absolutely did the right thing. Why in the shit would anyone go anywhere they are not welcomed? I wouldn’t want to put my employee in possible danger because of some racist idiot.

What if he would have got harmed? And then in came out the homeowner didn’t want them there in the first place?

Of course, the blame goes towards the racist, but as an employer, I couldn’t send a brother into that situation.

Would it make a difference if the person that pulled the brother off the route was black?

I got a work order stating not to send a black person to a house once. I was even more shocked when I looked at the name and address. It was clearly a black woman that lived in the inner city. So I just went...I had to see what this was all about. She opens the door talking bout "Didn't they say not to send no black technician?" I told her we dont get down like that, then asked why she requested that. Claims the last tech was black and did a bad job. I looked at her crazy, walked right in her house and fixed the issue. Sad indeed.

Why would she assume a white person would be better? Every day, I have white coworkers calling me about static ips and port forwarding allowances. I read all the memos were sent, every email, every tutorial that drops, every virtual learning module...I make it a point to know my job and more.
