Most people would have wasted that money.
They have stories like this all the time of people winning the lottery and ending worst off.
There was a story of a Texas millionaire who won it and ended up broke.

Let me win some money like that. Fuck everybody I'm out. You would have to hire a team of ex navy seals with sattelite imagery and shit to find my ass. Thanks to bgol I know how go off the "grid".

You'll have to! Like dude said on the "30 for 30: Broke" special, folks had his payday circled on their calendar and was waiting for him by his car when he came out of practice pleading their case:smh:

That stuff is hard to believe. The only thing I know of for sure is that they have had money that I have only been able to dream about so far.

Jesus tried to fight a crooked system with nothing, armed with the truth. It is the same way today. Being armed with the truth will not take you far. It would be hard to fight the enemies of truth when they have all the power and resources. A real black man today would be lucky to have a lawyer when they pull him into court for being black and real in America.

Their has got to be a curse to poverty. Maybe the ones that won the lottery were given it to be given back. At one time a man that owned a construction company had won the biggest lottery in the histories of lotteries. He was already rich. So he had a lot of practice in knowing what to do.

The rest of us, all we know is to keep trying.

Could NEVER happen to me. EVER. I'm so Jewish my nickname should be Godofweinberg. But I'm Black...so it's not...but it could be.

"She took friends on wild, all-expenses-paid trips to Cancun, Florida, Las Vegas, California, the Caribbean."

and

"they owned four vehicles: a bright yellow Hummer, a Mustang, a Dodge Charger and a $200,000-plus, souped-up Cadillac Escalade, "

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

They also didn't mention DRUGS in the article but you know that and clothes and going out to eat probably ate most of that money up.

She checked her account every now and again.....SHeeeeeeeiiiiiit

I'd be looking at my accounts daily same way I do now, just to keep a smile on my face.

Wonder if any of the "friends" she took on these trips or loaned money to even accept her phone calls anymore. Finding out who your real friends are is priceless, so I'm sure she's happy about that, but burning thru 10 million and the fact she never had to work ever again and be comfy has to be burning her soul.

People too anxious to run they mouth and tell people what they have.

10 mil that quick is a home for under 500k and a nice vacation condo somewhere tropical. I'd be elusive with everyone, family included and keep convos very brief. I mean I can't fault her entirely, if she was a dumbass before the money, she's a dumbass magnified with the money.

Someone eluded to this earlier. But if you'll fuck up a $1000 paycheck from work, you'll fuck up $100,000 and you'll certainly fuck up $1,000,000.

How you do ANYTHING is how you'll do EVERYTHING.

If "wealth" in your mind, is something you can see and touch, then that's the attitude you will take. You can't see and touch $10 million that's in the bank, but you can CERTAINLY see and touch the shit that $10 million will buy.

What people don't realize is that money makes you more of what you already are.

If you are an alcoholic... Money will make you more of an alcoholic.
If you are a jerk... Money will make you more of a jerk.
If you are bad at managing small sums of finances... you will be worse at managing large sums of finances.
If you are a hood rat... etc, etc.

So it's true what some of you are saying. Hell, how many of you know people who get thousands of dollars from tax returns every year only to be broke again a couple of weeks later?

Know what would be real funny....

She gave away millions to family...what if one of them was frugal, invested wisely and is now doing really well.

She goes to them and asks for a loan....and they say no:lol:

Would serve the dumb ass right....

I found this funny as hell because I have seen this happen firsthand.

I'm actually more shocked when people actually KEEP most of their winnings!! :hmm: Look at the ones who play the lotto. The vast majority are people wishing on a star to escape their circumstances, with very low personal finance IQ. They think of all the things they can SPEND those millions on :money:. Right away you can tell that's the wrong mentality.

At least they had it for a while, I stay on the poverty line

Mr. Lengthy

that shits a burden man. Imagine the daily hassles, the people she had to let go of-friends/family she lost, beggers, expectations, people counting her money...winning sounds good & we all dream of it, but there's a downside to that shit that most people can't handle. Literally having to seclude yourself just to escape the bullshit other people bring to your door. Its a gift & a curse :smh:

All of the above is 100% true.

Real is real. Think about it. The mentality perspective and viewpoint you have and use right now with a $ 500 check or a grand or maybe your tax or school refund check or something will reveal how you view and handle money. Ten grand or ten million it's the same thing.

Look at how others will treat you. Relatives are the quickest and easiest to take advantage of you. How do you view others who get big money? Does your view of them change now? What about your friends and homeboys and other associates?

Living life can become very complicated. It's not all peaches and cream and there may not be anyone that you know of in your circle that will understand what you are going through. It' can be very hard to explain to people not in that situation because unless they are getting some type of advantage for themselves through you they could really care less.

If you yourself don't listen to the right people or hang around the right people your life is not going to be very happy millions or not. Most people won't see or understand that and won't care.

Man, I'd commit suicide.

I read a few articles in the past that said people that win something like 500,000 and less actually make wise choices and manage the money better than people that win tens of millions.

10 millions is a lot of money but in these days where flossing hard is what people dream of and see on TV (that is usually false lifestlye) that shit can run out very quickly.

People win the lotto all the time and lose their money, you only hear about the ones who fuck up

Some people ain't hittin' on shit. :smh:

Ok, quick story: When I was in the sixth grade, a dude punched me in the eye for stealing his baseball cards. A tear rolled down my face, and my response was, 'That shit didn't hurt'.
