I put this in a similar basket as bad chicks not being approached before social media. Your chances of getting her were higher because people assumed she was taken, would only talk to a certain type or they were afraid in general.
Its not that unusual/unheard of for famous women to talk to average men. Jess is on the Breakfast Club and allegedly dude she married ( or engaged) to is a regular man.
