I'm not quite sure what you're looking for as the title is wide open to interpretation and I don't listen to C&W anyway.
But, The Chicks I do listen to. Natalie Maines can sing her ass off and the sister's alto and soprano compliment her perfectly on bg vocals. They sing relevant material, political and otherwise as well as typical country.
They are controversial for their views on current events. They got blackballed for saying they were ashamed george bush was from Texas (they're from Dallas) when he launched the Iraq war. They changed their name from Dixie Chicks to The Chicks after Trayvon Martin's murder.
