Looking for an Apartment

depends on where you want to get a place. some places you cant get into a place without the help of an agent.

I live in a military town, so it's just a matter of picking what apartment I would want and going to the office. I moved into my place the day I got home from Iraq. Made the whole deal by phone. Went, looked, liked, signed and moved in on day one.

It's the best set of apartments around the Bragg Area, in my opinion. Have an on site personal trainer, fully loaded gym, pool, about 3 miles from my office to my place door to door, grocery store on the corner, elementary/middle school close, mall/movies/dining close.

Suits me fine.

You could also try Craigslist in your area. They list some decent apts around here at least.

Have you tried asking people you work with, and/or posting up signs around work and/or school (if you're in school, that is)? Usually, grocery stores and Blockbuster also have Apartment Finder guides in the foyer/opening of their buildings. Check those out.
