Look at this disrespectful shit! H&M is out of pocket! Safari add campaign black Kid is the...

Fuck em...i used to shop there for cheap items every once in awhile..(basic t's, beanies, business casual wrinkle free button downs etc.)

But i'm done now...fast fashion is all shit anyways....i'm sticking with quality brands and custom tailoring

I mean I can't argue if its intentional or not....I don't think it ever is....I just think its incompetence and no self awareness. IMO, if you were a cac...you should have a team of minorities or black people in your camp to tell you that this shit ain't a good look.

But why do you think they do it? Why would they do this just to take it off their site lol? What's the point? You hurt your brand....black people are apart of their fanbase...

The clothing retailer H&M apologized on Monday for an image appearing in its online store that showed a black child model wearing a hooded sweatshirt that said “coolest monkey in the jungle.” The company removed the image on Monday and said it would also pull the shirt from its stores worldwide.

The image was widely criticized online for its reference to a monkey, an animal that has long featured in racial and ethnic slurs. The Weeknd, a Canadian pop star of Ethiopian descent, was one of those who criticized the clothing giant, writing on Twitter that he would decline to work with the company in the future.

The Weeknd Cuts Ties With H&M After Ad Featuring Black Child Wearing ‘Coolest Monkey’ Hoodie

“I’m deeply offended,” the Weeknd wrote, “and will not be working with H&M anymore.” According to Business Insider, he collaborated with the major international fashion retailer to launch two collections in 2017.

I'm late to this thread, but I wanted to co-sign about the sweater possibly being blank and later photoshopped by H&M. My best friend let his son's pre-school shoot promotional shots with his son in some generic green sweatshirt and 2 years later he saw his son's picture in the shirt with some local Catholic HS imprinted on it. Now this so happened to be the same Catholic HS that we all hated growing up because all the super rich privileged whites kids went there so it's not way he would have allowed him to wear that sweater during the shoot.

He discovered that shit on the grocery store shopping cart, they put it on a little placard in the front of the cart. He called them and got them to agree (he's lawyer and had a younger son still enrolled in the daycare ) to not to photoshop any religious schools for the ads.

I’m tired of everyone always blaming cacs for shit. That boys parents should’ve been involved in the ordeal. Do you think I’m going to let my 5 year old do a photo shoot and I’m not going to be there?

Of course those (greedy dumb ass parents) weee in the room when the pics were being taken. The minute they brought out that ape shirt I would’ve jumped in immediately.

Cacs will ALWAYS be cacs, so this doesn’t surprise me. I blame 100% of this on the parents.
