NYC major Deblasio just proposed a budget of 86 Billion up 2 bill from last year.. he just expanded on his successful universal pre k for city kids and now working on universal 3-K for 3 year olds.. that shit is huge especially for single working mothers who can't afford daycare.. plus he's setting aside 200-400 mill in an emergency fund because of the uncertainty in DC..

It's amazingly baffling. I've never heard a good counter argument from the folks who are deeply invested in anti illegal sentiment. There's a cold hard economic logic to illegal immigration that all the hand-wringing in the world can't change. You think Americans are gonna pick tomatoes in the hot Alabama sun for 3 or 4 bucks an hour? Or for minimum wage for that matter?! Get your eyes on the real issues!
