A reunion that no one in the NBA expected will be taking place in Charlotte this season when Kwame Brown suits up for the Michael Jordan-owned Bobcats.

Brown's agent, Mark Bartelstein, told ESPN.com on Monday that the 27-year-old has agreed to sign a one-year deal with the Bobcats.

The deal, for the league's veteran minimum, will bring Brown and Jordan back together almost 10 years after Jordan drafted the power forward straight out of high school in Washington with the No. 1 overall pick in 2001 in a move that worked out disastrously for both of them.

jordan dont learn does he...no really I think hes obsessed with winning, and wants to prove his fail in 2001 wrong.
Too bad Kwame has 0 confidence and will never amount to anything much.

Kwame isn't good by any means, but he's a solid post defender.

What's crazy is he's better than darko and look what darko got. Crazy.

That's one of the only undeniable "L's" on Jordans professional resume right?

Knowing dudes ego, it probably eats at him so he wants to make it right.

Kwama in no way is a great player, but watching him in Detroit for 2 yrs I saw some progress! Esp in the defense department! Also he'll get you 8 boards a game low risk move if you ask me!

As a player, Jordan was the GOAT. As an exec, the cat ain't even D-league.

Man. Adam Morrison is a worse pick than Kwame. At least kwame could give you post defense. Kwames problem is on the offensive end. It's 5 on 4 on the offensive end.

Yep. Michael wouldn't bring him in if Larry Brown didn't want him. The Bobcats need young legs and the 4 and 5 and rebounders and Brown is both.

Jordan's problem is that he sees the talent, because brown is talented, but being as good as Jordan was took a lot of work on Jordan's side- so his fuck up is like Zeke's screw ups. You see the talent, you see what they could be if they work hard and have the right mentality- but they apply their legendary work ethic and mentality to these players who don't have it.

THAT is what screwed up Kwame. His work ethic and mentality. Also dude couldn't catch the ball for shit. Bad hands. Undersized hands on a big man can be a death knell.

Ask Patrick Ewing lol.

The Bobcats went from a basement team to a playoff team once Michael took over (and he brought in and listens to Larry Brown). I'm far, far from Jordan fan but he takes some incredible heat for being a mediocre GM but it's not like he's the worse player-turned-GM in the league.
