I agree. The ending rubbed me the wrong way. It kind of ruined it for me, but I still give this film high marks.

Yea I just got back from checking this joint out....it was off the chain. I peeped the reference to how these med companies will try anything on people for the right amount of money but we already knew that though.

2 questions (spoiler alert),,,
1) how did he beat the murder rap of the girl in the hotel?
2) at the end of movie (when he was running for office),,, he told Robert De Niro's character that he was off the pill for over a year,,, yet he still predicted that car crash,,, was he really off the pill?,,, if not, where was he getting his supply?

1. Its implied that the guy (with the knife) that was tracking him killed the girl. Before he blacks out he had a vision of the guy walking down the hall in the hotel towards the room.
2. He tells Rob's character that he re-engineered NZT, got the bugs out, and created his own formula; he he has since tapered off. Maybe his new formula has more permanent effects.
