I don't know what you're talking about on this one... HNIC said he would only censor a certain six letter slur back when I got the word "kike" unblocked (a word I only use when discussing censorship on this board or singing along to a Michael Jackson song), but apparently there's a lot of shit he blocks out.

With all due respect, why? Those that are swayed by Limbaugh's type cannot be reasoned with. He has stated that he wants Obama to fail which means he is happy with the status quo. Are you happy with the status quo?

BTW, all Limbaugh and his advertisers want is for you to listen to his show, which means more money for them, which is the corporatist’s goal. Don’t feed it to it!

With this administration, no. The word for today is J-O-B. You cannot repair an economy without producers. Producers turn into consumers.

Basic Economics by Thomas Sowell. I would love to send you this book if I knew you would read it. By far the best book I EVER purchased. It simply explains why countries like Hong Kong are more productive than countries twice their size.

I'm trying to find the transcripts. I heard it on a GW CBN interview. Strangely, Sowell's writings are only sited on right wing web sites and blogs. Any wonder why?

Just read as it's typed, that makes no sense. Consumers make producers, not the other way around. Businesses add employees when they have more customers and no other way. What you have articulated is called "supply side" or "trickle down" economics and that's been a proven failure every time it's tried in this country (Reagan and Bush II) and perpetuates the boom/bust cycle.

In order to be able to purchase items you need a job. So you're telling me that jobs trickle up from non productive citizens or from poverty stricken neoghborhoods? Please cite

And another thing, consumers set prices.

When the Iphone was introduced to the market, sales were well below projections. After the price was lowered sales reached a new plateau. Put down the jet and ebony magazines!!!

You have some race/class issues going on in that last little bit that have nothing to do with what we're talking about. Get help.

We have had two Presidents in my lifetime that believed and pushed supply side economics and both times they led to long, deep recessions (again Reagan and Bush). Supply side economics was so discredited by the end of the Reagan era, his Republican successor called it "voodoo economics".
If there are no customers or the customers can't afford your product, then there is no company and hence, no jobs. What I'm telling you is when the government uses it's power (the levying and collecting of taxes)in the benefit of small businesses and working class people, everyone benefits. When the do so at the benefit of the upper classes and large corporations, those are the people that profit the most, almost exclusively. It was telling a few years ago when Wal-Mart was missing their projections but Neiman Marcus was having a record year. It wasn't that more people had money, it's that the wealthy had more money while the working class had less.
