I remember being in high school, specifically, chemistry class, when someone requested a best of Lil Wayne mix. He paid me $15 for all the newest Wayne tracks I could find. I took the money, and that soured me on selling CDs to anyone ever again. Here’s a link to mIRC and a CD replicator. You learn to make your shitty CDs.

It is tough.
Its Wayne. He sounds good like the old usual Wayne same content flow and punches and even some of the same beats from previous projects.
It was GOOD to hear him.
But the project OVERALL was poorly sequenced, mastered and executive produced.
Too Many songs. To many bad songs. Too many experimental songs.
which KILLED the VERY dope records that got lost in the mess.
If this was 6 or 10 tracks?
Woo boy it would have legit been an album of the year contender.
As is? I understand the disappoint from fans of all levels.
It is NOT horrible. But it was not something I would go back to.
But after all thr Super Bowl sh*t Wayne started?
He can't release a project like this.
Yeah, its more of a mixtape than album and it's crazy he took all this time to make the album without taking the time to make sure the quality was top notch.
I also would like to add he had way to many artist as features on his album.
I guess he wanted to make the album for all genres of listeners.
So, I can see why people have mixed feelings about the album.
I think that superbowl snub really messed with his mental because if he was picked for the superbowl, maybe the album would've been better than this one but we would never know.
So, I'm wondering if he can rebound with another carter album but to put out a better product after hearing mixed reviews about his carter 6.

I hear a lot of people saying it's a mistake. I kinda get that but I don't agree. This sh*t wouldn't have been worthy of dedication or drought or no ceilings title.

To me it's just bad records.
To me the features aren't too many they just aren't good.
And I keep hearing from trusted sources Wayne has no one to blame for the Super Bowl snub but himself. And Wayne KNOWS THAT.
Wayne could STILL fix this with a proper deluxe edition.
He needs a banned from NO remix with cam, noreiga, fat Joe, lox, nature.
A drake feature maybe even do the banned from NO with a young money reunion.

I do think he was trying to appease this generation with adding rappers that most people don't know about nor listen to since not a lot of those rappers on those features are good.
I also understand this isn't the same wayne we're used to listening to back when he had tha carter 3, because he was trying to move on to rock music with the guitar shit at the time.
Everyone said that things sound similar with manny fresh being on there doing the beats. Some people just didn't like the selection of beats on his album.
I do believe he will make the necessary adjustments after hearing the public mixed reviews because everyone was excited for this album but felt something was lacking of how it was produced.
But overall, wayne still got talent with making music along with wordplay coming a long way.
That's just how I view it.

Wayne seems to be insulated in his own world not listening to others.

Usually I would be harsh and critical on artist but I believe wayne is exception to that rule since he's put out classic albums before.
Maybe it's a minor setback for a major comeback.

I gotta disagree with his albums being garbage because he's got some classic albums that I've listened to with no skips.
Carter 2 is good due to T MIX production. 1 is aight. But after those nah. His mixtapes are better imo

I think Wayne gave so much to hip hop starting at a young age that it's only right people stick with him though it all. Because not a lot of artist can say that their fans being loyal to them.
So, while we can say some things we don't like, we shouldn't talk like he's trash with his body of work as an artist.
