Let me explain, being that I produced, but I am from another era, called DVD. The money that used to be in porn is gone to many factors like the economy of those that can't afford the luxuries like paying for it and add to the fact that now porn is free like nothing on the web.
As much as I don't like Buffy the Body, because of dealings with her and her manager Dawn once, but she dropped some knowledge on the changing of times in a vid in the past.

But fast forward to where we are today with the advent of Twitter, InstaGram and the worst being Tumblr where you can see all that for free and more. Add in the porn sites like XHamster and XVideos and whatever else.
Yes there is still money there for porn producers, but the least bought form of porn which is Black or Ebony suffered the first. When the porn industry moved to paying talent with checks and taking taxes, it killed it for a lot of the true hustling chicks in black porn. They had no reason to do it but to shoot a few scenes, get popular and do features or shows nationally. Chick's I know like Mone' still gets flown all over and she hasn't done a flick in how long.
