Excellent fucking point. Nate Parker said the same shit about HIS indie pic and how none of the big names would assist in financing. Nigga said he got his bigger contributions from athletes (Tony Parker was a big one). Nobody came in flailing and attacking Nate for the audacity of criticizing their heroes tho. The acting in Moonlight was good, but the movie didn't deserve an 'Oscar.' I thought 'Straight Outta Compton'which came out the previous year deserved more accolades. Also, an argument could be made that Jason Mitchell desevred a nomination for his Eazy E role.

I had to ask another customer in front of her to talk about me speaking to youth in the community hiring and mentoring young Black men etc...... I know I didnt have to but the look on her face was priceless when I asked her what she did.....
