NBA News And Rumors: LeBron James Uncertain About His Future When He Becomes A Free Agent In 2014, Will The King's Reign Return To Kyrie Irving's Cavaliers?

http://www.sportsworldreport.com/articles/17186/20130624/nba-news-rumors-lebron-james-uncertain-future-when-becomes-free-agent-2013-miami-heat-2014-kyrie-irving-cleveland-cavaliers-big-three-dwyane-wade-chris-bosh-champions.htm

LeBron James has little to worry about after winning his second consecutive championship, marking the second straight season that his Miami Heat get to have their celebratory parade down in South Beach.

Prior to the festivities that kicked off Monday, James sat down for an interview with CNN's Rachel Nichols and was asked about his 2014 opt-out clause, his first opportunity to explore free agency after three consecutive offseasons.

"I don't know," James, Most Valuable Player of both the 2012-13 NBA regular season and just-completed NBA Finals against the San Antonio Spurs, said, "because I haven't really even thought about it. So when that moment comes up, I will approach it, like a professional, and we'll see what happens."

James joined the Heat as a free agent in July 2010, announcing his free-agency move from the Cleveland Cavaliers, in a nationally televised ESPN hour-long special.

It's been widely speculated that James plans to return to his former Cavaliers team after praising new rising star guard Kyrie Irving.

Since James' departure, Irving has given Cavaliers fans a reason to still be hopeful about the future after two disappointing seasons. Irving slowly became the face of the franchise after two seasons where he averaged 20.9 points per game, playing 32 minutes a night.

When asked about the possibility of playing with James, Irving insists that the thought never crossed his mind.

However, the combination would make for an interesting duo in the NBA, but we'll just have to just wait and see what happens.

why should he?

lebron james fans (not miami heat fans) should want him to move on in the future.

lebron james will have the opportunity similar to that of shaquille o'neal, who carried the expansion orlando magic to the NBA finals and their franchise highest win total, carried the fakers to the NBA finals, and then once more with the heat.

in doing so, shaquille o'neal proved that he was not dependent upon a single style, a certain system, or a particular head coach. it was his shoulders that carried the franchises.

lebron james has done it with the cleveland cavaliers, miami heat, and it would be a tremendous feat for him to accomplish with another club.

Translated: "I'm getting the fuck out of here as soon as the fuck I can! Tired of playing with declining, crybaby Wade, and Bitch ass Bosh!! He's gotten all the fucking juice out of the Miami Heat orange...

The Heat bandwagon is gonna look like this REAL soon!

I can see him going to another team nearing the end if his prime

He ain't leaving Miami

True but I would love to see him go back to cleveland! I've said many times before... I am definitely a huge LBJ fan... Just would be a great story for him to help bring a Chip to Cleveland! I believe his teaming with Irving would be much more dynamic than the one in Miami! Just my opinion...

He ain't leaving Miami

Don't you hope... Seriously, I definitely see him rolling! The cracks in the armor were very evident during the finals! He's just not a confrontational Dude, but, don't believe the hype! His covert way of leaving Cleveland was not the exception but the rule, and you, Spol and Riley will know when everybody else knows... when he is on his way to his next destination Dude...
:hmm:

Why the fuck should he go back to Cleveland after the owner basically called him a runaway slave?

Foh only salty niggas and the media want him to go back to Cleveland trying to shape the narrative lmaooo

if the cavs didnt act so butt hurt then maybe. burning his jersey and dissin his moms and shit. fuck em

you talking bout the end of his prime...shit, he hasn't peaked yet!

Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2

I disagree... I believe we are seeing his peak now! Everyone says 'he's only 28' but Dude has been in the League a LONG time already! We can't forget he came into the league at what, 17-18? Just like Kobe who is breaking down now, that's a lot of mileage on those legs, knees and feet Dude...

I agree. What he did with that weak ass Cavs team was impressive. Weak conference or not, he took no-name players to the finals. When he left a 66-win squad, it went to lottery status.

The only reason he might come back is because of the proximity of Cleveland to Akron and trying to make his wife happy along with the Cavs looking decent in 2013-2014. If they are a 40 win club without him, he instantly makes them the east front runner in 2014...

That said, I doubt he comes back. He has no problem getting people to come to Miami, but the only person who came to Cleveland was a way over-the-hill Shaq. :smh:

...owner's rant...ya I don't see him going back there as sensitive as he seems to haters/critics I'm inclined to believe he'll always hold that in the back of his mind

You've got one more season with him Dude, maybe too... The way Wade acted like a bitch in the Pacer series, best believe that shit is in the back of his mind. Like I said, he's not a confrontation Dude, but it's definitely not lost on him that D Wade is declining, Bosh is starting to appear overrated and soon he will be carrying the weight of the entire Heat team on his shoulders, with a former elite player who still thinks he's elite, whining to the press making things uncomfortable.

It's not about Gilbert Dude, and LeBron loves to go to a ready made situation! Playing with the young core of talent they are putting together in Cleveland will look A LOT more attractive to him in a couple of season, than an aging Miami Heat team...

Lebron is that dude. With that said in 2 years when he is a free agent he will be declining. His play style doesn't allow longevity unfortunately.

He ain't leaving bruh all Riley will do is upgrade the roster with free agent vets and roll players

Don't be surprised Riley get Paul Pierce down to south beach if Paul take that buyout from the smelltics

Ninjas gon be crying

Yeah let him come to NY. The place he was supposed to come to originally.

Ok.. Play with a young stud crew in Cleveland or... play with a constantly rebuilding cast of role players and aging stars like Pierce...

Yeah your right, LeBron is definitely staying in Miami... :hmm:

I know he's from Ohio but no sane person is moving back to that cold, shitty, racist , boring, shit hole of a state from Miami.

And you think Riley won't amnesty Wade and get some pieces for Bosh?

I've always said the snicks fucked up by not giving Riley the keys to the franchise

This says it all right here...

This is the statement that has all Heat fans nervous as fuck! Non-commital... If he was 'so sure' he was returning, he would speak to it to quiet the speculation.

Dude is setting up his scene just like his last two seasons in Cleveland the first time... Riley, Spol and Heat fans will find out he's gone when he shows up on ESPN with a Cavalier hat on, or is co-starring in an Uncle Drew video...

Has nothing to do with what Riley can't do. I truly believe LeBron has struggled with how things went down in Cleveland, and would like nothing better than to return a hero and bring a chip back home. He has no real loyalties to Miami, and I don't believe he is a glitz and glamour type Dude... Just my opinion, but ultimately, no matter who Riley can bring in, with the way the league is spread out, and the more Kyrie and the other youngest mature, I don't believe they will be able to put a better core of players around him than Cleveland can...

Fam kyrie, waiters and all them ninjas leaving when they become free agents

Since when Cleveland was ever successful in keeping too free agents?

The same way LeBron, Wade and Bosh plotted in Miami, no one really knows what has or will be going on in the background in Cleveland! Just like Durant now, being in a small market city is no longer the kiss of death it once was! Social media, etc, has made that thought process extinct.

Was listening to Mike and Mike this morning talking about Durant, and Dude made an excellent point, even in OKC, a small city, Durant is getting way more exposure via endorsements and commercial appeal than Melo is, even with his success in NYC this season...

Mark my words, they are building something in Cleveland, and with the notion of LeBron coming back, and the ability to play with him and win Chips, makes Cleveland a lot more attrractive.

The collusion used to create the big 3 in Miami, will come back and bite them in the ass when it causes them to lose their biggest Star...

Good point...but 2 things...(a) OKC is consistently winning to an extent (b) as a city it's not quite the shithole that Cleveland is...Cleveland already had their chance w/ Lebron to build something special and they blew it

Man stop it smh

Have you even been apart of contractual negotiations? Why would you show your hand 2 yrs before u become a FA?

I can see if the heat offered him an extension and he didn't accept it smh

No matter what ninjas say this Miami team he won 3 conf finals and 2 championships with is better than the cavs team he was on from year 1-7

Only thing he regrets is how he handles the decision otherwise he was leaving Cleveland regardless

Team Switching is some lame shit

Pick a team...

Make your legacy...

Retire...

Very few players are granted that these days...But Bron can. I don't understand him coming to LA...Why come behind Kobe in the house that Kobe & Shaq Built...

He better not go back to Cleveland

We agree to disagree... like i said, history will repeat itself. Dude never really seemed comfortable during that whole time, and there is nothing like going back home to a heros welcome, especially when you have studs waiting for you. I am definitely sure he has heard all of the 'sell out' and 'he took the easy way out' shit, and LeBron definitely strikes me as a person who gives a fuck about what people say and think about him. Also, his bread is going to be there, and he's already proven if it means winning he will take less money. He definitely not a selfish Dude, and playing along with Kyrie actually fits into what will help him as his career progresses, where he can move from being so ball dominant, and save his body by balancing more going to the block and dominating, while not NEEDED to be so much of a facilitator... Extends careers homie, and LeBron seems to be a very cerebral Dude.

We will see... :hmm:
