Props to NY Knicks beat writer for correcting himself. Yesterday he wrote the Knicks were the top NBA selling (which had a lot of people :confused::confused: due to record numbers BK were having) and corrected himself today

As Berman notes in his revised copy, "According to a league source, Brooklyn’s merchandise is actually No. 1 since the season began in late October, hardly a surprise considering its novelty and fashionable black-and-white color scheme.

People switching up the story now? So when the Nets are number 1 and Jay and York are behind it people don't want to give Jay credit. Saying it's a new team in NY. but now it's people dick riding Jay? Yet the numbers showed the Nets are also seeing sales outside of NY and especially in the Europe market.

I'm not surprised Lebron being on top.

He comes off as a pretty easy-going guy. Basically an every day guy who just happens to be extremely gifted. Easy to relate to, and ultimately easy to like.

Lebron being on top isn't surprising he has been before and will again. I'm more interested in seeing how winning a chip will effect his popularity in China. There he is only behind Rose and Bryant.


Now that he has won a chip and likely more to come we will see what happens next

give it time the novelty has not worn off. they are still fairly competitive

good luck in the nets being number 1 at the end of the season. basketball is 82 games. like i said they are winning now and people are coming out but once they go through that guaranteed losing streak that is coming the fake fans will abandoned this teams.

I won't even mention the bench. That I remember correctly Philly fans were clowning before the season.

You right it is 82 games. So far the Nets are not even on the same page as far as there back court and Deron isn't a 100 percent but yet here we are

He purchased the team for 200 million something and back in August the team was worth double that.

At the end of the year it's no telling how much it will be worth.

York and Jay did a helluva job with the marketing.

Plus Ratner has till December 11 to pay him back for everything he spent to get the Arena up.

If he doesn't Proky ownership of the arena goes from 45% to 80%.

This is nothing new.

T-mac had high jersey sells when he was injury prone. The same as his cousin Vince when he was in Toronto. Yao Ming. Hell the report said last year Amare for the first time since joining NY fell out of the top ten for the first time.

But all of the players that you named built a nice body of work prior to their injuries. Merchandise sell's must be relevant to somebody....if it wasnt then you wouldnt have made this thread. So the fact that Rose is still selling hella merchandise despite not playing speaks volumes....
 
now all you'll need is a matching receding hairline to wear with the jersey and you'll be straight.

Incorrect Vince Carter was in his 4th season before his major injury. Wait wasn't it his 3rd.

I made this thread to show that Lebron is back on top after winning a chip. Also to credit the Nets a team that was on the bottom last season being number 1.

Also the fact about selling merchandise without playing is nothing new as we saw players before Rose do the same thing.

Then again Rose is a former rookie of the year, all star and MVP so what was your point about having a body a work??? None of the players I named have that type of work behind them.

The point is what you are seeing with Rose is nothing new.
