Do you equate yelling to a sign of strength??? Yelling at someone on equal footing is normally going to create conflict. First thing out of most people's mouth is going to be something to the effect of... "Who the fuck you think you talking too???..." With the
face. Just my opinion but there are more effective ways to hold someone accountable. I also noticed that teams that stayed "calling each other out" would normally go to shit when the chips were down and devolved into infighting and finger pointing.

Yup. All of this. You don't yell at people you respect. Period. I don't care where you are, or what you do. The media has come along and romanticized this "fiery, vocal leader" act and people think that's what good teams are made of. There needs to be accountability for sure. Yes he would be the soft one. No one is above being held accountable. Look at the great Miami Hurricane teams. There are many articles written about how they became the best team ever to play in college football. When dudes messed up or were being lazy players got in each others grill. Sometimes they whopped each other times.
Look at the Bama teams. When a player fucks up they be in there grill hard. I was the star player of my squad and I would get checked for fucking up. I never got sensitive because I knew it was all love, a brother hood that we had.

No one is saying accountability isn't needed. What I'm saying is yelling and getting in your teammates face isn't the way to do it. No one is above a mistake. So where does it end??? A bunch of teammates yelling at each other is not a positive thing. I don't care how you spin it. As I said, a team on the same page doesn't need it. People know when they fuck up and aren't trying to do it. If they're hurting the team, the coach needs to make an adjustment. But a player yelling at a guy that made a mistake is a sure way to start a cycle of finger pointing.
No its not just the coach's job. Teammates hold each other accountable on winning teams.
The disfunction comes in when guys doubt that it comes from a place of love or wonder if its really about the team or is it personal.

Look at my Miami Heat. Instead of being soft and bitches like the current Cavs, the Heat manned up and responded. Udonis Haslem and Howard were bench players but completely ripped into everyone at half time. I mean yelling and throwing chairs. The the team responded and had a great 2nd half

Kyrie got LIT UP by Teague. He played VERY stupidly on the defensive end. I dont just mean that he was getting beat physically, he also wasnt putting any effort mentally. So yes, by the end of the game, he deserved to get chewed out by his peers. Im not saying every winning team does it that way, but its not uncommon either.
