LeBron James gave Kyrie Irving a very boisterous and animated OT pep talk vs Hawks 4/1...

Pretty sure this thread gonna go this way and that way...

Is LeBron James trying to give Kyrie Irving a pep talk? Is he criticizing him for something? I have no idea whether this talk was supportive or angry, but it sure was animated. Whatever LeBron was saying, he was saying it with gusto.

It also appears Irving wasn't having much of it, never making eye contact with James. But it should be noted he wasn't the only one, as J.R. Smith barely blinked an eye despite James being right next to him. Maybe Irving was tuning James completely out, or maybe he was looking ahead to a coach.

No matter what the context being the conversation is, it's easy to look at it as another sign the Cavs are fractured. There were rumors Irving wanted out of Cleveland. There were issues with the coaching staff. Even if this was LeBron simply trying to motivate a teammate, many will jump to conclusions and assume the worst. Until the Cavs win a championship, that just seems to be the situation they face every night.

You can tell they're tired of his shit.

I'm a lebron fan, but I don't hesitate to call him out...

I haven't watched many games of late but I check the stat lines...
Lebron played damn good during March.

He is so tired of Lebron and his shit.

He was much happier when he was winning 20 games and the lottery every year.

In the final seconds of the 4th, I saw James inbounding the ball, Kyrie didn't get open, which resulted the pass to get stolen by the hawks.

Since he unfollowed the Cavs and daydreamed about playing with cp3 and Melo he's averaging 28 (59%), 9, and 9.

JR looked like he was texting.

Well u know the deal

That body language from Kyrie.....
When he fixed his posture that was a signal to Lebron; "Nigga stop touching me!"
Lebron read is accordingly and backed off.

Peace,

You don't talk to a grown man like that, I don't give a damn what the circumstances are. This is just bitch behavior that he gets away with because he can. I like Lebron, but if Kyrie had punched him in his face (not that he would), he would have been completely justified.

As much as I like to give Lebron the business this is a none issue. If you played sports you know players yell at each other all the time and it is called being held accountable.

Kyrie doesn't fuck with Bron...

Charmers used to stand his ground vs those all stars. Always respected him for that

he did and often responded well....but it wasn't like he wasn't fucking up

Kyrie trying but he has too know aint make teams made it playing his style....

it might look like Cheat code does what he wants but it often in the flow of offense or when he's on fire

In sports teammates yell at each other all the time and you can't be sensitive about it because it is not personal.

Actually... On a team where chemistry isn't an issue... They dont... I don't know what the teams you played on were like. But only coaches were yelling at people. Teammates who respected each other ain't yelling. Because when you yell, you open yourself up to criticism because no player is perfect and doing everything well. It creates an environment where people start looking for shit to call people out on, instead of handling business. Not to mention you tune "that guy" out. There are ways to held each other accountable and yelling ain't one of them.

Did Kyrie respond like he's a player who likes being yelled at like that?

It's one thing to do that to Mario Chalmers, it's another who thinks he's the best point guard in the league without you and doesn't think you're helping his game.

right what I'm thinking it wasn't as bad as it looked...

he got open for the inbound pass, got fouled and hit both shots

We yeld at each other. We would get in each other faces for messing up. But were also not a soft team

Then Kyrie is soft and no wonder he has never won anything
