Lebron James breaks record for consecutive seasons scoring 25.0 points with 12

Amazing.

Even if we ignore MJ's first retirement he "only" did it 13 years.

Only one who has a shot at matching is KD.

Man .. Great accomplishment. There is always this tendency to denigrate the accomplishments of today's athlete. Back in the 80's Jordan was thought of just a scorer and not a winner. When it is all said and done people will give Lebron his just due.

Yup....it will happen

why so much hate for Lebron though?

we got players who have straight STOLEN millions from teams decimating them for years to come...

by thier inferior play lack of conditioning and just being knuckleheads...

I don't see no one going after them?

What these idiot retread GMs and coaches?

where all THAT hate?

I don't mind people hating on Bron and Melo etc...

but damn these white boys in charge gonna get a complete pass?

Where's all the grumpy grandpas with the  "Back in my day(90s, 80s, or whenever) he'd never have (insert bullshit).."

That's a helluva an accomplishment.

What people see to forget is the enormous amount of pressure and expectation he had on him comeing IN TO the league as an 18 year old kid! He was crowned the King before he arrived, drafted by one of the worst teams in the league, his hometown team no less!!

Not only did he put that entire city on his back but he immediately turned that team around... again, AS AN 18-19 year old kid.

NO other player has had to come into the league at such a young age, with all that pressure and expectation on them, carrying the weight of a city and a franchise on his back, and excelled the way this Dude did!!

His entire career has been historic from day one, and think on it, he still has 3-5 more years playing at this high a level. Barring injuries, he's gonna be by himself looking down on a LOT of legendary stars when he's done!

MAYBE... JUST MAYBE the best of all time and I've been around for a while.

WHY?

1. He makes ANY team He's on better. Few and very few can say that. Even the great ones.

2. He could lead the league in any category ( ppg, reb, ast, maybe steals) if he so desired.

3. Can guard any position. Point, shooting guard, forwards or center.

4. Phenomenal athlete! Could play NFL tight end. Probably one of the fastest and strongest in the NBA.

Still an attention whore at times but we're talking basketball skill.

This is Myth IMO he can not guard a center or true PF. Go back a few years and when the heat played the pacers he complained how he's not built to play the 4 or 5. David west was to physical for him and he was tired as shit.

Dude is an amazingly versatile player. To be that offensively dominant AND defensively complete?!?!? Ridiculous!

Gonna leave this right here!

I think after he didn't get that DOPY award, he stopped putting as much effort on defensive...

#1 might be the most significant stat of all. To take Cleveland, a team full of scrubs to the Finals when he was still basically a kid? Name another player thats come close to that type of feat, damn near singlehandedly. Wish I could go back in time and see how many people were hating on Lebron before the media actively started doing so

A few just didn't like him getting that hype at the time

Dude is a once in a generation type beast. The league has never seen a player like him before. Already top 5 all time... Gunning fot arguably the #1 spot!
He's great no question. Wonder where he'll run to next when he can't get it done in Cleveland.

Question must be serious for you Bruh, gonna supercede a Bish post to hit me with Ike pondering!!!

Probably to franchise where he will make them the best they've ever been I guess... :D

On a side note... You know Nerlens is gone after this season right? They wanted to move him this season but he was Hinkie's boy... They were saying that moving him, possibly before the draft to try and parlay it into some more picks is a top priority...
