He got JR paid, but Smith is going to "try" to force his way out with little leverage. 99% chance James bolts unless Gilbert offers a percentage of the team. That aint happening, remember the letter. Its a couple sticks of wild E coyote tnt under Cavs headquarters. This season is a swan song.
PS Ran into K Anthony Towns in Barneys last week. Smart, humble & personable, will be pulling for the Wolves to make some noise. Good kid & he is not a legit 7ft. He is early career Hakeem 7ft.

-Seeking compensation is fruitless. Lebron has no trade & 1 year on his deal. He wont agree to a trade that will deplete his future team of assets. Not happening.
-Offer a Magic /Jerry Bus lifetime deal with a stake in the team. Nah, the Magic/Bus deal was relationship oriented.
-Enjoy one last good run & trade some of those horrible contracts next off season. Thank Lebron for the title.
