Up until 15-20 years ago EVERYONE learned how to play at the neighborhood park. There was a hierarchy at the park. The older and better guys bullied the younger guys and guys that couldn't play as well. There was a lot of serious trash talk and sometimes that talk turned into some real seriousness. If you played well and won you got to continue to play and were bullied less. if you lost it may be hours before you played again and the oldheads would definitely get on you for losing. It was a harder grittier style of play but it calloused you and gave you the tools to handle adversity. An argument over the score or a call could go on for a while and lead to violence. You had to learn to stand up for yourself and not let little shit bother you. In these last 15-20 years no one plays at the park. All the games are inside. Kids learn how to play in biddie leagues and then AAU ball. The games are scheduled and no matter if you win or lose you know when you're gonna play again. No one is bullied and a hard foul can mean getting kicked out of the game. The score is kept on the scoreboard and there is always a ref to make the calls. Young guys think a hard foul is a bitch move and want to fight or shoot! Knowing this, how can anyone get upset at Lebron. He is a great talent and we understand he's a bitch but how can he be anything but soft when he grew up in the gym and never getting fouled hard or bullied? He is what he is, the star of this soft era.

I wouldn't call that a bitch since he's protecting his brand within a court and on camera. You don't know what he would do outside those parameters. You don't need to be from the hood to be psycho and you don't know if he got abuse by family. You making a lot of assumptions

Bird played on stacked teams relative to Bron. When his teams stop being stacked he stopped appearing in Finals.

hall of fame greatness..lebron got swept in the finals by a team with less hall of famers..all we ask was for 1 win lebron vs the spurs..4 straight losses 0-4 for the series..and lebron wasn't a rookie..guess lebron needed wade to finally get at least 1 finals win

You cant that Finals loss against LeBron at 22. So I count Jordans playoff chokes against the Bucks and Celtics at age 22,23, and 24.

Excuses. Kareem and Duncan won chips their 2nd year. Its nobodys fault but Jordans his team was ass and could barely win 30 games. Getting swept 2 years in a row in the 1st round is failure.
 
The last 2 games showcased the aggressive killer instinct Lebron I always wanted to see on a consistent basis. He should be kicking himself for what he did not do in 2011 or 2013 finals. If this Lebron had showed up those years he would probably have 4 rings by now. The flack he got for not being a cold-blooded at all times was well deserved.

LeBron was Finals MVP in the 2013 Finals and had the highest point total (37) in a NBA Game 7 Finals.

If MJ displayed better all around skills and didnt rely on Pippen, Grant, Rodman in those areas I wouldnt be able to call LeBron a better all around player.

My bad, I meant 2014 finals. As far as MJ goes it is a moot point. One person does not make a team. Jordan was blessed to play on good chemistry teams where everyone had their role. Lebron only had that in about three of his finals 7 finals and that was this year's healthy Cavs team and his 2 rings in South Beach.

LeBron has no frailty at the end of games and that myth has been debunked since 2012.

I'd like to see the stats for Lebron's teams when they are down in the fourth quarter. How many times has he put the team on his back to come back and win? Again, I'm not hating on Lebron. I'm just pointing out his flaws. No one is perfect, even the greats had flaws. I think that is Lebron's. He's still an all-time great.

Congrats to LeBron and the Cavs. LeBron finally started playing in the second half instead of thinking, like in the first half. Put them on his back and did what he was supposed to do! Definitely a series for the ages. Congrats to them again.
