So this why Oprah nixed all mentions from her shit huh?
Oprah if you listened carefully really was about making the issue of child molestation get spotlight. She made sure to say this is bigger than Michael Jackson to cover herself when this possibly backfires. I don't think she chose those words by accident. She never came out saying she believes these men 100 percent. It's that crap about "telling YOUR truth" excuse will be used to get her out of any future mess like possible lawsuits.
She disappointed me doing this special anyways like I always said Michael Jackson is Innocent and Robert Kelly is guilty.
I spoke about the truth and the lie at the same time before and how it is used in media. Goes right to my post above. This "documentary" went from film festival straight to HBO television in mere weeks on purpose. It was to catch the R. Kelly fire and ratings.
You pay $21 million out to close out a trial thats getting in the way of other business, impeding revenue - at that time MJ was a $300 million / year business when all entertainment properties and various licenses were counted
You can ask lawyers this question and some will tell you they would have told Michael Jackson the same thing. To just get rid of this quickly and move on with your other business. I have a lawyer as a friend and he said he most likely would have told MJ the same thing IN THAT MOMENT OF TIME, but in hindsight would have agreed with what Michael originally wanted to do and that was fight the case.
This is the early 90's and not 2019 social media era. The times were different. Today people rush to judgement and also if you don't defend yourself off the jump the social media world will have the world feeling you are guilty. You really have to take into account the time and era of this.
The first sign this was bullshit was in the post-interview when the filmmaker was copping pleas as to why he didn't interview Michael's family or lawyers. "It wasn't a film about Michael..." Then in the same interview, he's talking about "the men were given no renumeration for the film". Yet he nor his hit-piece movie volunteered info about the lawsuits Robson and Safechuck filed against the Jackson Estate, from which he'd certainly receive a payoff if they won. When Wade Robson was asked why he filed a lawsuit if it wasn't about money, he said, "it's just part of the legal process."
In this era of clout chasing you always have to wonder with allegations ESPECIALLY from people who had things thrown out of court. He also testified for MJ in court. He is KNOWN for lying at some point no matter how you try to slice it.
Then you have to take into account with the documentary deliberately leaving out other testimonies in fear it will bring up doubt in the viewers eyes. This latest stuff coming out about the documentary is not surprising to me AT ALL because I looked into the accusers past. The whole thing seems fishy.
Then of course, you have a dead man who can't say boo to any of the allegations. Then you have stuff like this.
He claims he doesn't listen to MJ music, but there are countless videos online showing he does. Also, when did this occur? Before or after the MJ estate didn't want him to be apart of the Cirque De Soleil production?
He's really about bringing awareness and helping victims, but what organizations and so on has he attended or put together?
This is about clout chasing in the modern era imo. He has fame once again off Michael Jackson. His career and celebrity status to date women like Britney Spears was off his association with Michael Jackson. 10 years after Michael's death and he is not around to help his clout level (where he went to court about lack of work) he pulls this stunt of a documentary.
If people can't see why people questioned this documentary and think people clout chase nowadays and SAY ANYTHING for attention below is someone who was so classless they tried to get fame by saying they MURDERED another human being who was a celebrity in Nipsey Hussle. The clout chasing is real out here.
