Also India and China have over 1 billion citizens....

The US has about 335 million so for the numbers to be that close at 20-30% of the size of the other 2 is phenomenal.

Those US numbers are inflated. When I was in the marines they said we had 400k. They were counting active, reserve, and inactive ready reserve (IRR). Marines who get out after their contract is up are in the IRR for 4 years and technically they can recall you in a national emergency. The IRR probably makes up almost half the numbers.
