LaMelo Ball Drops 40 POINT TRIPLE DOUBLE

The kid is 16 man
I don't understand how you niggahs can hate knowing that fact

I’m hating on a 16 year taken out of school to play ball on the other side of the world because his pops is more concerned with his brand then his son getting an education...

Kids get taken out of school all the time. Child actors, musicians, entertainers, soccer players, etc.

Melo isn't a regular schoolkid. He's going an unconventional route to his dreams. Nothing wrong with that.

And maybe getting a formal education isn't his focus at the moment. But best believe he's getting a education in life while living and playing professional ball in a foreign country.

Breathe fellas...not everyone goes the same route in life. Melo isn't on the path to get a degree and work a regular job making 60k. Dude wants to play ball and make money.

Man don't pay these people no attention. If they really had a problem with this they would be mad at the white tennis players who stop going to school at age 14. Niggas are just crabs man

This is a stupid ass post.

This kid doesn't even have a HS diploma.

And what education is he learning playing professional basketball overseas? If you aren't good enough to compete people will make excuses and your daddy will create pickup games that you can excel in?

They tried this same bullshit with Jeremy Tyler and it hasn't worked out well for him and he is a center....Guards are a dime a dozen

Uhhh what?!?!? He got pulled out of high school his Junior year. He won't even have a damn diploma? He'll need to get a GED. Then what? If He fails at basketball like most people, then what? At least LeBron, Kobe, Garnett all finished high school. Y'all praising a nigga who took a 16 year old out of high school to play basketball? What!?!?!?! Not college, Highschool!

Home schooling man

I really don't get this shit with Lavar and his kids man...........like I've said from jump....I don't care if this shit fails or not. Lavar doing this shit his way and trying to set the blueprint.

You guys stay trying to raise someone else's kids and then gonna ask "how is it hating?"....

What education will you learn over here? In America? What education are they missing out on? Because Melo got his diploma and still went over to another country stealing Gucci shades.....

Gelo got caught stealing. He literally did one of the dumbest things a person in his position could do. On one hand, with UCLA giving him an indefinite suspension, going to Lithuania was a good look for him. Melo on the other hand. He got too much potential to be playing in Lithuania. He should be playing in the US at one of the top basketball high schools against real competition.

I think you are confusing education with home training...

The only education that his parents should rely on schools to teach, math, science, and language arts.

I don't buy into some of y'alls belief that the schools failed you are our kids because they don't teach true history relating to black folk.

I personally think your parents failed you because they shouldn't have been relying on a white school system to teach black history...

Exactly! Like they have a vested interest in the white man's machine.

@ballscout1 You think you have "bought in" to the establishment's system?
You think that it will effect you if & when it crumbles?

No sir but I think many of you are trying to input what you hope the motivation is or should be.

This ain't no grand noble attempt to break anything.

It doesn't matter what you think he is still training his sons to be entertainers for that same crakka whose system you think he is attacking.

Everything he is using is a white system....

They ain't create no league in Africa playboy. Showing his games and sitcom on blackonpurpose.com

Not to mention his shoe line was saved by a white-owned company...

But if that what y'all want to believe, have fun.

I don't even know what you are talking about. You better know more than just black history if you want to make it in life.

My point is, the school system over here wasn't going to teach him shit that can't be taught at home or by a tutor. I think it's funny y'all pretending like y'all really care about Angelo's schooling....just one more thing for y'all to criticize them on.

He has potential but he wasn't going to fulfill that potential in high school basketball. How good he will be will be determined when he's 18 or 19 and the competition he sees then. He has a solid foundation now. And it helps that he has a brother in the league.

How is it setting the blueprint when its been done before...

Jeremy Tyler dropped out at the end of 11th grade to go overseas cause he was a lock for the NBA.

And as far as raising other peoples kids.....it takes a village ..

See why it's dumb to drop out of school? But them teaching for tests doesn't help either. :rolleyes2:

I said the only thing parents should allow the school's system to teach their children is math, science and language arts.

The only education that his parents should rely on schools to teach, math, science, and language arts.

I said y'all who say the schools failed our kids because they don't teach them true history are wrong. it is your job to teach history and culture.

I know what you said I just don't know why you said it...I never said schooo failed our kids.....so whatever you are speaking about is irrelevant on that account.

The school system over here is day care. He probably would get a better learning experience with a tutor if they choose to go that route anyway.....I haven't heard if they will or not.

What Tyler did and what the Ball's are doing aren't even in the same atmosphere. If you want to give him credit for doing it first? Fair enough....but there is more to this then just taking his kids out of school.

I never once said what Ball is doing is right. That's never been my stance. My stance has always been to take a wait and see approach of what he's doing.

But some of you dudes sit back and watch his every move just to criticize it and rush to judgement.

"See!!! I told y'all he was gonna fail.."

And then you will turn around and ask "How is it hating?".

You asked what kind of education would he get here in AMERICA..

I haven't rushed to judgment at all I speak facts .. and my position is Lavar Ball is not some great black activist out to break the system so that black folks are treated fairly..

I could care less if they win or lose except I hope he isn't fucking up his kids future..

But all this what a great move look at him winning and posting these bullshit accomplishments like it proves it was a good move.

I personally think your parents failed you because they shouldn't have been relying on a white school system to teach black history...

The irony is that you don't see that Lavar is empowering his sons by not relying on the U.S. university system to prepare his sons for professional basketball.

Nor has he ever claimed to be. He just wants a better shot for him & his and is willing to do whatever it takes to see that happen. It just so happens that he is willing & able to circumvent the system in more ways than 1.

I could care less if they win or lose except I hope he isn't fucking up his kids future..
We can't tell. And what difference does it make to you, they aint yo kids :dunno:

But all this what a great move look at him winning and posting these bullshit accomplishments like it proves it was a good move.
He look like he's winning to me!
Him and his family are happy, healthy, and doing what they love the most.... BALL'N!

You are creating a narrative and a reason to hate them. Lavar never claimed to be a activist.

Nobody has said oh what a great move. It's clear where the divide is. You have a group hates anything they do and hate when they get praised so a select few want to come in and rain on the "parade"....then you have a grip of people who want to see them win and see black independence win.

How a black man or person of color could be opposed to what Lavar doing? I don't know...

Which is why I reply to those on this board who proclaim him to be..

All black kids are my kids when it comes to concern....

the last sentence can be another discussion but whatever.

stop grabbing hold to another poster and pretending it is your thought..

the people calling this blowing up the system and creating a blueprint blach blah blah is who i reply too and now all of a sudden it's he never said that.

and then to talk about hate and why doesn't anybody have any opinion ? why is it on youtube and online ? or is it only for those who agree ?

and you mofokrs talking that hate shit are as tired as these mofokrs talking about online bullying...

you are right i don't see it...

playing handpicked bums so that you can look better but not be better

like dunking on a 8-foot rim.

Is he empowering them or enabling them?

What are you talking about?

You are creating a narrative to hate this man. You don't even realize it. You just sat here and said one of the reasons you don't like him is because he's a "black activist". He's never said that. You then dislike him because "Jeremy Tyler already did it". Then its because "he took his kid out of school". You are looking for reasons. It almost looks like a sickness. Like you don't know how to conceive someone doing something out of the norm or doing it on their own terms so your first reaction is to hate what they are doing because you don't understand it or agree with it.

When you spew bullshit with no basis? You hating. It is what it is.

And its the same dudes....I don't even go into all the Ball threads....but I noticed its you same dudes you headline the hating squad.

What high school player wouldn't be humbled by the NBA elite though? Yall gotta start putting shit in context. :smh:

And that's my thing man.....like why throw that "He's gonna be humbled by NBA competition real quick" type comment? For a 16 year old? Now Melo I get...the boy is raw and he's not ready and he's 18 or 19. But the 16 year old?
